  • it would own if you could play team fortress 2 like that lol

  • You should make TF2 maps XD

  • It would be cool if the 3d objects were lit using a world space light. For example the Statue of Liberty, it would be cool if the shadow always stayed in one place as the object rotated, as if it were cast from the desk lamp.

    Otherwise, NICE JOB

  • @kincaid05 I guess the new version of this plug in does exactly that.

  • cool! what program did u use??????????????????

  • @iFlyCam2794 Google SketchUp with the AR Media plug in, 3D warehouse to find models and Fraps to do the video capture.

  • AWESOME!! :D

  • Second Death Star! Wooohooo!!!!

  • so awesome! and i love that you put this song on the background

  • @ShroomCity THanks. Hey.. this new Youtube video view page SUCKS!

  • wow - that was COOL!

  • SUPER GREAT JOB !

  • Very cool!

  • wow! Most of the motion tracking was really superb! There were a couple moments where I thought the CG models were going to slide off the paper though :p

  • It's fairly surreal to tip and shake the worlds tallest building, the Burj Dubai, on a piece of paper!

The tracking worked best in bright light, it seems.

  • Cool stuff.

  • Not sure how you did this but its awesome. I'll have to look into this AR media.

  • Amazing stuff!

I liked the models of Orchestra Hall and the Weisman! The only thing that could have made this video better would have been a model of my favorite skyscraper, the 225 South Sixth building!

  • You're right! I should have included that. I kinda got off theme after finding the Star Wars stuff. Ha.

  • Neat!

  • thanks! I had fun making it. (listening to this song on a loop)

  • very cool!!!

  • This is really cool, what software/site did this come from?

  • OH yeah, I should have listed that in the side. I built some of the buildings in Sketch Up, got the rest from 3d Warehouse. Then there's an Augmented Reality plug in for sketch up you use, AR Media from InGlobe. it's 50 bucks, but the trial lets you use it in 30 second clips. Lastly, FRAPS for video capture, now they have a windows 7 version. That's it other then soulseek to find the tune. It's pretty cool to play around with!
