It would be cool if the 3d objects were lit using a world space light. For example the Statue of Liberty, it would be cool if the shadow always stayed in one place as the object rotated, as if it were cast from the desk lamp.
wow! Most of the motion tracking was really superb! There were a couple moments where I thought the CG models were going to slide off the paper though :p
I liked the models of Orchestra Hall and the Weisman! The only thing that could have made this video better would have been a model of my favorite skyscraper, the 225 South Sixth building!
OH yeah, I should have listed that in the side. I built some of the buildings in Sketch Up, got the rest from 3d Warehouse. Then there's an Augmented Reality plug in for sketch up you use, AR Media from InGlobe. it's 50 bucks, but the trial lets you use it in 30 second clips. Lastly, FRAPS for video capture, now they have a windows 7 version. That's it other then soulseek to find the tune. It's pretty cool to play around with!
it would own if you could play team fortress 2 like that lol

It's fairly surreal to tip and shake the worlds tallest building, the Burj Dubai, on a piece of paper!
The tracking worked best in bright light, it seems.
