These cars don't need momentum in corners because they have such high aero and braking performance. slowing down and accelerating is not a problem.

Drifting is induced oversteer, sideways BEFORE the apex and throughout the corner. RWD car with limited slip differential rules.

Power sliding is sideways AFTER the apex, mashing the throttle trick, aka Power-Over. RWD and AWD cars

FWD drifting is silly, though takes a lot of skill yanking the e-brake throughout the course. FWD does oversteer naturally with momentum.

Everyone has different definitions of drift.

1. A slide just after the limit of grip but no more. (European and Japnese)

2. As much of an angle as possible (American)

I assume drifting is a quicker way to go around than powerslide because you conserve the speed in a drift more so than in a massive angle powerslide.

In older cars, brake power was same in all tires. In differential braking, brake power is different every tire. Brake power depends on force, angle of turn, Traction control inputs etc etc

You might say it's a part og the traction control, but actually it only uses it as input to make real time adjustments to brake power in each tire individually.
