Randy Hansen is Hendrix, close your eyes and you can't tell the difference.

Hansen is the one of a kind where you can't tell the difference between the original and the tribute, I guess Jimi is still alive.

Don't get me wrong, Hansen is by far the best Hendrix impersonator around today, and you guys all sound really great, but I would like to hear a song that he wrote himself. I mean he's an awesome guitar player, but he's only doing the Hendrix thing. And it's real cool that you guys are able to recreate the vibe that was Hendrix. But I mean it's not Hendrix and it's not original. Does he have any original music that I can find?? Cause if I want to hear Hendrix I have like 30 CDs I can listen to.

Excellent guitarist--virtuosity defined. Imagine what he'd sound like with Cox and Mitchell!!! I find it hard to believe America has no market for him. Far worse play Casinos and smaller venues and still make a great living doing so. Randy deserves some type of accolade. I owned a Hendrix sig guitar like this, the pickups turned upside down have a cool tone.... hard to play this guitar I thought. Hendrix didn't have option of lefty models in his day, but he didn't flip the pickups, he played it as is. I traded it for a Paul Reed Smith McCarty model and some change. Wish I still had it instead though for the cool factor..

for those of us who play guitar for a living and are also in the Hendrix genre it is an honor to watch a fellow player like Randy do such great justice to such an important Hendrix song such as Machine gun.
