Okay you have 14 wolves and your food bill is 1600 dollars a week? That is hard for me to believe. Do you serve them organic free ranged chicken or filet minon.

@Carljoakimmm Okay so if the unit price for chicken is around 1 dollar a pound and you are spending a hundred/animal/week/animal that calculates out to about 100 pounds/animal/week, no bullshit! These animal don't require that much raw meat, at most 5 pounds a day and that is for very large active wolves exceeding 130 pounds. There is a huge credibility gap there. So if they are serving one animal over a 100 pounds of meat a week then I question their management of these animals.
@Waste0paper I'd think the wolves should be getting elk or deer meat, maybe even some caribou. If not any of those something cheaper like goat or sheep. But I'm surprised its ONLY $1600 a week for FOURTEEN wolves!!!!
@YuFangirlButNotABad1 I think they should be getting fed that too, they naturally feed on Ungulates so it only seems appropriate. This is a rescue facility for wolves so you have to serve what is cost effective or you will be shut down and a broke animal rescue, and elk and deer meat isn't cost effective.
Man, it sickens me at how the government kills animals like that. There use to be over 50 different species of wolf and now there's only 12 because of our stupid government. Tonya, what you're doing is such an amazing thing for those beautiful wolves. I believe that your grandfather would be so very proud of you. Please keep up the great work. The wolves in the UK dont exist anymore, neither do our bears altho there was talk of bring wolves in from other places and try re-introduce them but i dont think the government will ever do it, we lost them here i hope you stop that happening there xx

Wolf Mountain is a short drive away from where I live. I keep promising myself that I will go there and donate when I get the money. I hope to have a wolf sanctuary some day, and Tonya is my inspiration.
@GeeGeeTrainee or they can't haha 'cus of debt (the government is responsible for that too) or the like ppl have to eat too and i'm sure the wolves would care as well as native stories have tales of wolves bringing extra food to feed starving ppl who have got lost and were weakend by hunger pains and watnot the government is resposible for ALL the worlds problems but without it society would be a wreck. i wish i could visit a place like this my guiding spirit is a wolf

Such an amazing video. Wolf Mountain Sanctuary is one of the most beautiful places on Earth!!! My favorite place to go....if anyone ever has a chance to visit, it is fantastic. An experience with the wolves is something you will never forget! WMS rocks!!
