i prefer skate shoes over special shoes. they work better in my opinion, and usually are cheaper. just make sure they arent round on the toe, or you wont be able to stall as well.

You can a Hack from almost any sport store in your area...They are either called Sand bags Dirt bags Hacky Sacks or footbags depending on where you live, or who is selling them..If you are jsut looking for a GOOD hack to practice with the cost should be around $11 if you want a Hack that might last you for forever would be a costom made hack which some go to $50 to $200 depending on the maker.. I suggest just buy a $11 one and dont let any one Chicken Scratch it and it should last you a longtime
