Ai prod/execs thru You Tube does not want to put this video in the front page. no, no, no. It shows David being versatile and cross genre/cultural. David also sang at Selena's tribute and that's hidden, too. I put the exact number of views so you can see if they bring back the LOWER view videos.

I just noticed today that there are TWO videos of this same Imagine version, one by davidarchuleta122890 and another by avenger444. Both are in around 160,000 views, one lower views than the other. In case they try the switch the video game with this song, I'm putting the user persons names to keep track. Have you wondered why some of Archuleta's videos haven't gotten enough views? HIDE the ones that's gaining views and bring in the lower views game. Noticed David's spanish videos gone?

If ai prods/exec really believed in true honesty to the public, then why do they need to continue manipulating Archuleta's videos, removing high view ones and placing them to the back page, making sure Cook's video are placed with lower of Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson and Archuleta. Why do they need to prop up Cook's image and STILL DO in You Tube? 'cause Archuleta is still more popular.

What was wrong with ai show was ai prods/execs bend and manipulated to make sure Cook won that season. Archuleta is happy to made the top 2, both davids are still friends. That year was ready for rocker to win. My point is that votes would have been a lot closer like in Ruben and Clay season 2 with Cook still win. I'm not pleased with the prod/execs who heavy handedly made sure one won over the other, instead of letting the public votes stand true.

to say archuleta should have beat cook is ignorance. if the idol winner was based on this night, archuleta wins in a major landslide. but, week to week archy sung the sang tune everytime, the sad ballad. Cook took songs, made them his own and played an instrument. cook absolutely dominated the field almost every week except this night. there have only been 2 real idols and that was underwood, clarkson and daughtry. the rest faded after their idol popularity died down.

About 5 other ai contestants sang Imagine but David's interpretation is the most memorable. David sang this song in the finale, too, and third time in ai show as a guest artist on April 7, 2010. Great artist, songwriter and author. Bought his new book, "Chords of Strength" great read.

He clearly said his favorite verse is the third verse. Listen to his own words. Google 'David Archuleta reflects on Imagine-Idol Chatter'. Brian Mansfield at USA Today, interviewed him not long ago. The third verse is simply more meaningful to him, and I don't understand why it's weird to pick the third verse. Because the lyrics actually made Paula cry and people paid more attention to the lyrics and appreciated John Lennon for meaningful lyrics.

As Paula said this is a simple and beautifully composed song, but on Idol, you should rearrange it and make your own. Otherwise, judges would say it's karaoke or copycat. If you read a recent article by Brian Mansfield, you will understand why David chose to sing the third verse.

D: I enjoy the original Lennon version because his voice is so simple and the arrangement is so simple, it really complements the point he's trying to get across: that the idea is so simple and natural and yet it's being met with ignorant minds who refuse it for their own greed.

you don't understand the AI show's format, relicof, contestants are only given a short time frame, and David chose to sing the third verse that he loved. He sang the full verse in the video called, "Young David Archuleta , Imagine, good thing Utah". David's Imagine is just beautiful. The AI judges got it right. David's version is stunning and awesome.
