  • Bill needs to STFU when Ron is talking. I don't know what Kindergarten Bill Maher flunked out but the one i went to taught us to wait our turn to speak.

  • not liking Bill Maher in this interview

  • this man is a genius. If you belive the history books , you will not vote for him ever.

If you belive the books lie to you. This is the man.

  • Ron Paulism requires a very distorted view of history

  • Pay to end slavery???? The entire point is that people are not property you dipshit.

  • @markjamesnelson i believe the yanks paid with 800k lives! itd be better if theyd paid with cash than with a massslaughter beside hes right the war was more about a making strong centralized state rather than stopping slavery.

  • I get this odd feeling. I feel how much Bill Maher love Ron Paul.

  • Yes Bill, the government can't even control it's borders with mexico, but it can change the temperature of the planet.... Just Brilliant

  • @MrBrational "The Government" isn't setting about to change the temperature of the planet. Our lifestyle, burning hydrocarbons that took millions of years to form for energy. Constantly throwing carbon at the rate of rare volcanic events, is going to change the temperature of the planet.

I never understood why people don't listen to the 98% of climate scientists that agree with this. If 98% of oncologists said something gave you cancer, you'd sure as hell avoid that something

  • RON PAUL IS LIVING IN A MYTHICAL PAST - A PAST THAT INCLUDES A CONFEDERATE VICTORY. HE ISN'T LIVING IN THE REAL WORLD - A WORLD WHERE HIS IDEAS DIED A PAINFUL DEATH AT APPOMATTOX.

  • otta say Bill is wrong there are way more that 2 scientist disagreeing with Man Made Global Warming wikipedia shows several links of list of scientists who disagree with a Man Made Global Warming.

About the Civil War, he's only saying that since we were the only country to go to war over slavery that there was other options and he thinks war was bad. The bottom line is, I like that we ended slavery... maybe by not the best means, but it ended it none the less.

  • @je5752 Denying global warming is like denying evolution. Sure, some scientists that are proponents of global warming exaggerated or made up some data in order to stir up some more funding from the government, but there is still overwhelming evidence that the surface temperature of the earth has been rising over the past century and that it is due to rising C02 levels in the atmosphere and that man has a critical role in it. The greenhouse effect is a testable thing. How can you even deny it?

  • I was listening until Paul said slavery was not a direct cause of the civil war. I am now done listening to him.

  • @s5b678

Isnt that what Lincoln said--remember it was Lincoln idea to do the 3/5ths deal or something---I have head that is correct, but I dont really know.

  • @s5b678 Many high school American history classes have been trying to correct it in recent years. If you ask your son or daughter in High school, they should be able to tell you that slavery is not the main cause of civil war assume they do pay attention to class.

  • @DaveBlackism The underlying cause was still slavery. The "state rights" issue of that time was essentially the right to be a slave state.

  • I love being a Canadian. Canada is fucking awesome.

  • ROn says there are scientists on BOTH sides of the argument of global warming, Maher says NO YOU DON'T this is the left. They have an opinion, and they yell and scream to shut up those truths.

  • @RightWingCon81

Oh come on! Lefties are always more soft-spoken than righties! That's the problem for the Lefties. They don't want to offend the Righties who are BEGGING to be insulted.

  • @Silverwire100 Anyway, I have to get going, nice debate, but my son is calling me.

  • WOW!! IS this man really a politician?? I don't think I have ever seen an interview with a politician who is so candid and on point with his answers! And to Bill's point, Ron has one of the most conservative track records in congress compared to anyone over the last century! I hope he runs for president in 2012! He got my vote!!

  • On what issue, other than wanting to get out of Iraq, is Bill Maher even "somewhat libertarian"? The man is a fucking cheer leader for the current administration, whose policies are the very antithesis of libertarian. No, Bill. You are just a fucking leftist playing on that side of the political spectrum.

  • 2:45 - "NO, YOU DON'T!"

    Wow, Bill. Calm down.

  • I love seeing Ron Paul. Everytime he is presented by an argument he kinda goes Uh Uh Uh Uh in his brain he is going, "could this motherfucker be any stupider?" Then he calmly presents the proper response that is undeniable. Ron Paul 2012

  • Ron Paul is Conservative First, Libertarian second. Example Not allowing Gays to adopt children in Washington D.C. another is his RonPaulNewsletter!

  • @JASON9948 Was there a bill that banned gay adoption in Washington, D.C.?

Also, read the article ""Old News"? "Rehashed for Over a Decade"?" That article debunks the quotes -- they were taken out of context.

  • @MooseOfReason look at his policy and what he did that is all.

  • @JASON9948 I'm asking for the bill number or the name of the law that he voted for. Either one.

  • @MooseOfReason The city not the federal government!

  • @JASON9948 So, Washington, D.C.'s city council voted to ban gay adoption? Ron Paul works in Congress (the federal government). You accused him of not allowing gays to adopt children.

  • @MooseOfReason There is vote evidence of that is durring 1999 H.R. 2587

  • @JASON9948 If it's the bill from September 18, 1999, there are multiple problems.

    1. The bill doesn't mention gay adoption.

    2. Ron Paul voted against the bill.

  • @MooseOfReason really?

  • @MooseOfReason where is the evidence?

  • @JASON9948 Look up the bill on GovTrack.us. I did a search of the bill's text and couldn't find anything about gay adoption. Is that the right bill?

  • I never even thought about the civil war like that! Ron Paul makes me question everything everytime i watch him

  • Do something about the volcanoes! HAHAHA! I've been making that argument for years! Love that Ron Paul. Maher can't debate, all he can do is make personal attacks without any depth of knowledge

  • Ron Paul talks out of the wrong orifice. A congressman who doesn't even understand why we have government. Complete and utter moron.

Hardcore libertarians need to listen to this guy. Here is where libertarianism becomes just another ideology. Ron Paul will distort any fact, historical or otherwise, to maintain the purity of his vision. A ditto-head by any other name is still a ditto-head. Next stop for Ron Paul (when is libertarianism crashes and burns): Jehovah's Witnesses.

  • @jmonroe64 I think you may be retarded...

  • @StopTheCorruption1

Alas, this statement proceeds from a false premise.

  • @jmonroe64 Alas, you can eat shit...

  • @jmonroe64 because big government has been going so well under Bush and Obama...

  • i hate bill maher....what a tool

  • I agree w/ Ron Paul on his take of history & politics, but I think his faith in corporations demonstrates a vaste naivette. What he says about the Civil War & the CIA is true. People should study the facts instead of repeating the propaganda they were taught in school. He is also right about the problems of our fighting wars for oil, but he simply has no answer for Global Warming. The history of corporations is as oppressive as the history of governments. Corporations won't save us.

  • RON PAUL 2012!!!!!!!!

  • Why is Ron Paul not President?

  • Because he didn't win any primaries.

  • Bill Maher is about as Libertarian as Michael Moore is conservative.

  • Bill Maher is an idiot! Ron Paul shouldn't stoop to his 3rd grade level!

  • Ron Paul laid down some wisdom, talking about how our foreign policy and heavy subsidation of oil companies has contributed to global emissions pollution, and then Bill Maher belittles him by going back to the civil war thing. What a coward. Bill Maher cowers from true debate with cheap shot comedy. Fuck you Bill Maher.

  • There was an volcanic eruption in the 19th centuary that released more carbon into the atmosphere than mankind ever has. One giant eruption every 150yrs and thousands of small ones' every day dwarf any amount Co2 we create but de-forestation and water/sea pollution decrease the earths' ability to balance the effects those gasses have.

Ron Paul talks a lot of sense but he knows what he's getting with Bill. Just wise cracks and witty remarks about current issues.

  • Sorry, but that is hugely incorrect. Carbon dioxide is a minuscule component of volcanic gas. The most significant emission from volcanoes is sulfur dioxide, a powerful aerosol. Thus, volcanic eruptions have a net cooling effect.

  • The only libertarian belief Maher has is the legalisation of pot.

  • ron paul to rule the world!

  • LMAO! Bill is still calling himself a libertarian? LMFAO! A man who votes for Obama, who wants universal healthcare, wants more gov't control of the economy, is fine with heavy regulation. SURE! He's a libertarian in retardville.

  • You would be amazed at amount of leftists calling themselves libertarians, they give the party a very bad name.

  • @RightWingCon81

lol yeah thats funny, but thats 2007

maybe he wouldnt dare to call himself that anymore

  • @2Drink Well, what's the difference in Buill Maher of 2007 and Bill maher of today? he was just as liberal then as he is now. He had balls to call himself that back then and if he keeps calling himself that he has bigger balls. He's a piece of shit who also says he's a PETA member but says he'll eat a burger if it's late and he's hungry.

  • @RightWingCon81 Excellent comment

  • @RightWingCon81

Libertarians are greedy and irresponsible. The actions of a single individual affect other individuals. Therefore, regulation is needed.

  • @Silverwire100 You're right, therefore I say, if anyone would like to write an article in a blog, or a newspaper, they must clear it first with gov't as there actions will affect others, and if they are of a religion, they must clear that too, as they may build temples in places I would not like to see such temples, and if you have a home, I say gov't should monitor your actions as you may do things that affect me. You fool!

  • @RightWingCon81

Censorship is one type of regulation. I am referring to regulation of businesses and instituations to hold them responsible for their actions.

  • @Silverwire100 So business should be held to a different standard? One type of regulation is superior to another? There are LAWS in place which are just.Laws against theft, laws against fraud, and laws which hold accountable those who destroy public lands.THese laws can be used to hold any individual or corporation accountable for most if not all actions which can be considered immoral or unlawful. Most regulations are frivolous, they choke business, and there is no wonder we have a dying economy

  • @RightWingCon81

The fact that the marketplace is THE societal standard is the problem. When you have a society of consumers, regulation is a must. Otherwise, everything from resource management to financial accountability is at risk of toppling society as a whole.

People should always come first. Libertarians wants a free market. So, the abstract marketplace becomes more important than human lives.

  • @Silverwire100

A business is an abstraction. It separates responsibiliy from the PEOPLE who run it.

Businesses and money itself act as buffers when it comes to decision making. Instead of asking, what is the best way to complete a given task, libertarians ask what is the most economical way to complete a given task?

Money should always come second to the task at hand.

  • @Silverwire100 If I make a car for the mass market I want to make sure it's the best car I can offer for the best price. Surely a car made with a wooden frame would be cheap, but as a smart business man, I know my reputation would siffer,so I would seek to make the frame of steel, but the least expenive but equally durable steel I can find. If you feel you could make a better car with better steel, great, go for it and compete with me, don't force me to use something I don't think is worth while

  • @Silverwire100 Or if you don't want to make cars, don't buy mine, you have the choice. So you see it's not JUST what is the most econmical way, but what is both. I as a business man ask, what is the best way I can complete this task in the most economcial way. Most people on the left dfon't understand business, this is why they make this mistake.

  • @Silverwire100 If what you say is true, then perhaps regulation isn't what we need, but rather we need to take stock in our lives and become less dependent on things. THe libertarian doesn't just want to protect the market, the libertarian wants to be independent, the capitalist is about self reliance, and so an entire society depending on a market place and not themselves is a problem which can't be fixed by regulating the market. in fact it is gov't intervention which has created every (cont)

  • @Silverwire100 (cont) large corporation we can not live without. It is the amalgam of gov't and free industry into monstrous things we can't control which has lead us to bail outs. THe banks and the gov't are not two separate entities any longer, they work together. A free market would make the private market truly private and liable to sink or swim, and gov't small and unintrusive.

  • @RightWingCon81

But without any regulation, there will always be dominance of big companies over smaller companies or richer individuals over poorer individuals. Those with lots of money would have an unfair advantage over the little fish that compete against them. There must be rules to ensure that no ONE company or individual dominates a specific branch of society.

Also, I am not saying that businesses should not exist; merely that they shouldn't be the focal point of society.

  • @Silverwire100 In a society with laws there is no true dominance of anyone. Rights are preserved, laws ensure you can't simply murder me because you want to, because you want what I have or because you have money and I don't. Society protects us already with laws, civil and criminal. And without government, without regulation which prevents new competition from emerging, that is how we truly kill the little guy and allow the big guys to continue to grow, stay out of it, and it will be equal.

  • @RightWingCon81

Those "rights" you speak of are just as abstract as the so-called "liberal" or "left-wing" rights libertarians attack. All rights are abstractions.

I'm not a liberal. But I'm closer to being a liberal than a conservative. Whatever those classifications mean, anway.

I'm all for treating every idea on its own terms. I say form political parties around an individual and his ideas, not the other way around.

  • @Silverwire100 I believe rights are absolute. I have a RIGHT to my property, to keep the proits of MY labor, and MY intelligence. I also believe you have NO RIGHT to share in MY success. That is not a right you have. I don't have a right to your food, your home, your wife, your car, you don't have a right to mine. But I won't bitch if you're cruising in your escalade, it is YOURS you bought it, you enjoy it.

  • @RightWingCon81

The only way to find out which rights are important is too ask which "righst" are the least contradictory. But health care, for example, is just as abstract a right as property.

Why should you be entitled to property rights but NOT health rights? Furthermore, health is arguably more important than property. You can't own property if you're dead. And you can't enjoy it if you're in pain.

  • @Silverwire100 You only have rights to two things. Things you have earned, (or have been given to you by someone who earned them) And the basic human rights of all. Those being life, the right to defend yourself, the right to speak your mind, these are all rights to DO things, not to RECIEVE anything. Health care says you have a right to have ME (the gov't uses MY tax dollars) pay for YOUR healthcare.

  • @RightWingCon81

Yeah? And? Health care is just as big a fantasy as the right to property or any other right.

Humans must live by some fantasy, after all.

    There are no UNIVERSAL rights.

Each "right" in question must be evaluated based on its overall good and usefulness... and above all, how contradictory it is or isn't.

Health care will save Americans money in the long run. I'm Canadian and our health care system is FAR better than America's. Our economy is also more stable.

  • @Silverwire100

More people will save money in the long run by using a "socialist" health care sysetm.

Just like America's schools are "socialist".

American corporations have brainwashed the masses to fear GOVERNMENT because they MONITOR them.

The government is more moral than greedy corporations or greedy capitalist individuals.

  • @Silverwire100 In Sweden where they have a VER socialist system all around, esp. medicine, hospitals are basically broken. People pay next to nothing for hospital stays, the unemployment rate is HUGE, unwed mothers below the age of 16 are the highest in Europe, why? People can just live off of the gov't, say they're sick and stay at a hotel for free, I mean stay at a hospital, I get confused.

  • @RightWingCon81

That's simply not true. Sweden is almost functioning as a utopia. I don't know where you got your information.

Anyway, education and health care are best left to the government. It allows everyone to have a safety blanket.

See, when you aren't sick, it's easy to say that you don't want the government to help out. But when you're sick, you get a different impression.

Canada's taxes are not that bad. It's worth the price.

  • @Silverwire100 You believe in saftey blankets, I believe in freedom. There is no such thing as a utopia, it's a lie. I got most of my info from PJ O'Rourke's book Eat the Rich. You can probably find the chapter on Sweden online. I recomend it, it's an eye opener to those who think Sweden is a utopia. And when gov't any gov't takes over anything, they fuck it up, when private enterprise does, they usually make it better because they have insentive.

  • @RightWingCon81

There are far more cases of corporate and individal corruption than government corruption. There's a reason why most intellectuals side with the left.

NOT TO MENTION ARTISTS AND PHILOSOPHERS, who used to be the true rules of society.

Dedicating one's life to money is shallow and vulgar.

All that libertarians care about is money. Period.

  • Healthcare is not a right. the right to speak freely is a right, b/c you have the right to excersise, it, HC is just free shit, not a right.Your HC is horrid. There are countless articles from Canadian ER drs who speak of ERs filled to capacities, year long waits for clinical studies, and multiple year long waits for surgery.Your HC doesn't save you $, Sweden has a far freer HC system than Canada and yet they like you, have a broken economy b/c of it.And your economy isn't stable, it's stagnant.

  • @RightWingCon81

That's still better than America's state. There's nothing wrong with toning down, so to speak. America has to be careful not to overextend itself.

I love America. And considering it's a great country, I want to see it continue to prosper. It would be a shame to see more recessions caused by lack of government regulation.

America's greatest economic growth occured from approx. the late 1940s until 1980, when Regan took power and got rid of regulation.

  • @Silverwire100 Listne, the most prosperous time in the US was during the late 19th century, until the early 20th century. That was because there was little regulation, business thrived, people could work, it was good. Easy? NO! Good for growth? Yes, it was the industrial revolution. The 1940s we were in the depression, 41-45 the second ww, after that we had less regulation, not more, FDR's new deal was eroded, the 1970s we had Carter and his economic disaster.

  • @Silverwire100 The 1960s the New Society, was a disaster. 1940-1980 Rethink that. Reagan gave us the largest peace time economic UPTURN in history. Our economic power, our strength came when business was allowed to do business.

  • @RightWingCon81

That's not true. From late 1940s to 1980, the U.S. economy was relatively stable and prosperous.

AND the overall standard of living was better.

    Money ain't everything.

  • @Silverwire100 Listen, you say regulation is great, and canada has regulation, yet their economy is still down, but now you say it's not ENOUGH regulation. Which is it?

  • @RightWingCon81

But Canada's economy is always stable (even when it's "down").

Canada has regulation, just as the U.S. has regulation. But Canada doesn't have THAT MUCH MORE regulation than the U.S.

Canada, like every country, can always improve. Canada has too much regulation for trivial things, and not enough for important things.

  • @RightWingCon81

Furthermore, we shouldn't run society like a business. We should run society like a community. Individuals should come first. Every abstraction should come second (like money, for example).

Society shouldn't have a societal yardstick. Every sector and field should be treated on its own terms. Today, the marketplace is our repressive church. Money becomes a buffer between everything.

And since money means nothing, we have a society that stands for nothing.

  • @Silverwire100 Society isn't run like a a business, business is run like a business. If you feel we are too dependent on business in our lives, fine, but regulation won't change that, it takes a societal change, it takes people making a huge shift. By making regulation you are keeping that dependance on business and making it worse, making it easier to depend on business. Like living in your mom's basement and forcing her to pay for your food, you'll just stay in her basement longer if she does.

  • @RightWingCon81

SOCIETY IS RUN LIKE A BUSINESS. The fact that libertarians call for a "free market" as their main mantra is further proof of this.

The first step to convincing me otherwise would be for libertarians to call for a "free society of free-thinking individuals".

  • @Silverwire100 Um, they do. THey call for more than just freedom of markets, you really must read libertarians more. Libertarians believe that you should not just run your business and keep your profit without gov't's hand in your pocket, but you should be able to keep your guns, fuck your wife in the ass, and marry your sister if you please. They want as little government in our everyday lives in every aspect of life as possible.

  • @RightWingCon81

But libertarians are simply replacing the government for the free market as their oppressor. The difference is that the people at large have a say in government (at lest, to some degree). Greedy individuals and companies are not accountable under a free market.

  • @Silverwire100 Where were the large oppressive corporations in Hong Kong pre 1997? THey didn't exist. That was as free a market as the earth has known. There can be no real opression if everyone is free to take what they can. If you sell hotdogs and have made millions you truly can't opress me. If you're my boss and I don't like you a free market says I can just go to the store use my capital to buy hotdogs and sell my own. As it stands now I would need permits, licences, etc. to compete.

  • @Silverwire100 In fact, I can be much more opressed by the monied in this society than in a truly free market. And if you had millions there are still laws to protect me from harm. You are confusing libertarian free markets with anarchy.

  • @RightWingCon81

Here's a simple way to win this debate.

Look at Canada. Canada is a much more stable country than the U.S. So are countries like Sweden.

They take the PEOPLE first approach. And they STILL rely on a version of capitalism. These countries aren't perfect - and they can be made better, too - but they are functioning better for the people than the United States.

  • @Silverwire100 Simple? Right now the US is in an exonomic downturn de to socialistic programs and spenidng. Canada is in debt as well, the Canadian dollar is lower than the US dollar, Sweden as said before has a BROKEN economy, in the 1990s they had to revampt their system to stop spending so much on the MOOCHERS and leaches (read people) and still they are heavily in debt, they pay half their salaries in taxes, HALF, they are ALL in debt as individuals too.

  • @RightWingCon81

NO! Canada and the US are not doing well because there is not enough regulation where it counts and too much where it doesn't count.

BUT, Canada is more stable than the U.S.

Explain to me how America hit its economic peak with regulation from 1940s to 1980?

Regulation is essential. It's just like allowing a drunk to drink as much as he wants at a bar and then drive home.

  • Are humans at fault for mars heating up?

The same way they use school shootings to ban guns will be the same way they use global warming to tax people to death and to keep under developed countries from developing.

  • You do understand that carbon is only a small portion of greenhouse gas emmissions and that man made carbon emmissions is only a small part of the total carbon emmissions... My point being is that we are arguing over whether a fraction of a fraction of a percent is what's causing the earth to warm... Ron is right, we are still debating this, unfortunately the UN scientists operate as a democracy so when they say 3000 scientists, it is the total number of inputs, not affirmative opinions...

  • How many times did you watch 'The inconvenient truth'? 10 times?...

  • My thoughts exactly there is a huge difference between volcanoes and power plants and the fact that Ron Paul doesn't see that shows that his nose is bigger than his brain. Volcanoes are not erupting every minute of every day. They are really just an "earth burp." Power plants spew tons of toxins into the air, and they go 24/7/365. The fact that Mr. Paul says this shows where his loyalties lie. He's in cahoots with big oil and coal and big insurance, not with us. Mr. Constitution my ass.

  • What Ron Paul is saying is that even if there is global warming there is nothing our government can do about it we can not restrict china no more than we can restrict a volcano and as far as the Mr. constitution my ass coment where in the constitution does it say government has the final say in corperations and does it say anything about not bieng able to purchase a suv or own a farting cow? Lol if you find anything that says they do have the right to tax my farting cow let me know

  • The Constitution is not a rigid document, nor was it intended to be. It's not the Bible. The Constitution allows the congress to pass laws for the general welfare of the people, and global warming falls into that category. And China is doing things on their own to control their emissions because they no its a problem. They know the air in Beijing and Shanghai is making people sick. Soon they are going to overtake us in renewable energy.

  • Dude are you retarded? If the government can rewright the constitution at will then who is to say they can not rewright it to take away everyone of our rights? Oh well i guess they can rewright it they are doing it now!!! And as far as saying the government can control corporations i think they do have a right to limit the emisions to a point or they could even make places that have emisions move out of town but i thought that is what the epa was made to do...

  • LOL i just figured out the cause of global warming!!!!!!!!!!!! It is caused from all the hot air coming out of your ass.

  • Oh and i thought i would let you know it is not "global warming" it is now called "climate change" And the reason for that is because the earth has been cooling off for the last several years. If you do not believe me look it up it is on government records from censors in the ocean. So before you freak out and spend my money on fixing global warming i would like for you to figure out what it is that you are fixing in the first place

  • global warming/climate change. Its the same thing. Those said records are fake. Look who sponsors them. ExxonMobil, Chevron, Royal Dutch Shell, Massey Energy. All corporations who stand to lose millions should word get out about global warming. They're more aggresive now in the wake of Al Gore's movie. They want to instill doubt in you, and it's working. They make up fake studies about cooling and pay greedy scientists to promote them to get you on their side.

  • That's the conspiracy you won't hear on Alex Jones. It's real and it's being perpetrated right in front of you, and they're smiling with glee that you're too dumb to realize. You're blindly following Ron Paul, getting drunk on his liberty talk, just like they want you too.

Thankfully I have been unplugged from the Matrix and have joined the resistance. I'm immune to and see through the lies from the polluters and the puppets they control. Don't be harvested by the ExxonMobil Setinals.

  • The government damn well so has a say in what corporations do if those corporations are spewing toxins into our air and water giving our children asthma, leukemia, and birth defects.

Ron Paul is not on your side. He's using your love of freedom and fear of government to brainwash you. It's great he's against the war, but his domestic policies on health care, education, and many other things are borderline Bush like. I used to like Paul, but he was too good to be true. I'm a Dean man now.

  • I'm not surprised that you listen to Alex Jones. I turned him off years ago as I did with the Paul. He's pretty much the Glen Beck of the Ron Paul crowd, though he spouts nothing but lies and threats and can't say one sentence without throwing a tantrum. Surprised he's never thrown up or had a cardiac arrest in one of his rants. He's certainly bloated enough.

  • well I have not been able to find any proof at all that global warming exist or that it is man made but i will check it out if you can send me a link to anything. But melting ice and pissed off polar bears is not proof because ice tends to melt all the time and in other places it freezes all the time, and polar bears are always pissed off. And why do you keep talking about this alex jones guy? I can see you dont like him but what does he have to do with anything?

  • Ron Paul makes a good point about volcanoes causing some part of the global warming. But he says "what can our government do to prevent that?" Well how about the present administration throw themselves into a volcano and we can see what it does.

  • If you guys really believe Global Warming is man made, you should learn about fx 'sun spots' or Peter Taylor. There is no proof whatsoever, that global warming is 'man made', and if you say this is crazy, without studying it yourself, you are nothing but a sheep! Im a big environmentalist, and against all kind of polution, but this hoax is created to legislate global taxes and fuck up the poor countries!

  • the sad thing is ArenJ, that a large percentage of the population are nothing but sheep, and are firmly entrenched in what ever position they are told...or sold.. would be a better choice of wording... firmly entrenched that is, until the next "bell" rings, directing them to the next chute to run down...

  • I cant wait till iowa and nh when this guy gets booted out of the running and you ron paul wing nuts stop posting OLD Bill Maher episodes over and over and over again as if its something new. its like ron paul spam

  • Never knew I would see the day that I would agree with Bill Maher. Never would have thought I would see the day Bill Maher would endorse a republican. RP is bringing people together in a VERY mighty way!!!!

  • Yes it has, the only thing is just about how much humans have had a part of it, right now it's leaning to A LOT!

  • compared to what? the ocean? animals byproducts??

  • So - we have no global environmental issues at all???

  • Yes, we are cutting down too many trees. This is a threat to the diversity of life on this planet. We are very dependent on plants and other animals for food and ideas (yes, most of our inventions are inspired by nature, ie, a sponge-like creature that makes optical fibres in cold ocean water). We waste paper making newspapers that people glance at then throw away. Recycling? You can't recycle paper indefinately, you allways have to add some ammount of new pulp.

  • On December 31, 2007, imagine thousands of Ron Paul supporters marching at the same time in every major city in the... world?! Yes, Montreal was just added! ronpaulmarch[dot]com
