  • Well, I wouldn't have believed it myself unless I tried it. And I have and it's the bomb. Demo coming soon from yours truly for those interested. Well done, Olmar!

  • Olmar, you nailed it, fucking awesome!!!, I'll buy your pedals here in Brazil, and remember: NEVER MIND THE BOLLOCKS!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • I was about getting one but it is huge expensive!!!!!!!!!!!

For spending 250€ on that we got more alternatives.

A shame as it sounds and looks super.

  • Sounds great, dude!

    Parabéns!

  • It sound really great! I have a collection of old muffs but only one has the same feel... Parabéns!!!

  • I have a Cornish SS-3/G-2 duplex and had to see for myself what the hype is all about. Sounds good, not going to spend $345 to try it out though. But hey, if you want to spend the $345 on this instead of $1000 on a Cornish P-2, if you can find one, then this is probably a wise investment. Its all what you have to spend!! Cheers everyone!!

  • much expensive...for a muff pedal I don't like it...

(i have P2,G2,SS3,skreddy pink flesh/mayo/ernie/zero/lunar module/top Fuel )ecc ecc ecc

    but they aren't so expensive

    why????

  • Giovanni , Sorry but here in Brazil things are different!

We have to pay taxes for importation! (Its Almost 90% of importation value + transportation!) And this pedal is all made with imported components!

  • bello , trust me , this pedal will replace all your fuzz pedals including the cornish . your mouth will be open and you wont know what to say . because this guy olmar , nailed it , nailed it , nailed it . i am shocked .

  • DG1 is using the P2's buffer! that'll make a huge difference!!! The cornish buffer is the best in the business.

  • If the buffer would be useful, DG-1 would have one. An extremely simple circuit that is only useful for connections over long distances and is a filter to disrupt.

Stay tuned, I'll post a video soon in a separate loop.

  • the DG1 is not using the P-2 buffer . the pedal sound the same in a blind test , trust me i know what i am talking about .

  • Please realise the DG-1 is placed in series after the P-2 so it is also benefitting from the P-2's fabulous inboard buffer, one of the keys of the Cornish pedal and the best buffer around. If it was out of series then it would sound different. I also think the P2 sounds loads better for what it's worth- fuller deeper richer.

  • you are 100 % wrong . the DG1 sounds the same , i am shocked .

  • Done!!

See another video, the sound of the DG-1 and LD was better without the buffer

  • Wow....toptone is almost identical. The P-2 has a touch more bass. I bet cornish users will be pissed about this one.

  • P-2 sounds noticeably better to me. I listened without watching the video and I could tell which is which.

The DG-1 does sound nice, though. 75% as nice.

  • Does TopTone have a website?

  • toptone com br

  • DG-1 sounds great! Congratulations TopTone. No differences to P-2 :)

  • Great demo. Thanks.
