I have a dodge charger myself with a 270 amp mechman alternator waiting to go in.

Im thinking about using 1 4/0 guage from alternator to rear battery.

Did u get rid of the stock wire completely? Still have the stock battery in?

@forsellb i can believe that., 2 18's may make enough pressure to use the cabin as a pressure chamber., my 2 l7 15's facing the other way with 2 bd1500's would liftthe trunk lidenough for me to damn near stick my hand in there.., so i feel ya., but none the less., i'd have still reversed it .,cause 10 outta 10 that ive heard sound better with the subs facing rearward, but if any sub could make me wrong., it would be these n a freakin warhorse., thats just insane..., needs 2 more subs really haha

@PDArep09 installation was about $2k w/ box n everything. Subs were about 1k, amp 2k, batteries 1k, alternate $600. And alot of extra were free like the dynamat etc. Not too bad...

I like close to houston and have a 66 impala thinking about putting 1-18 2-15 2-12 kicker l7 and some 4-8" square kickers in the part under the wimdow and have kicker warhorse

Powering it all and kickers in the doors and under the dash

Yea I already have 3 runs of 0guage wire ran to my H/O Alt and I have 3 Kinetic power cells and 1 stock battery in the trunk hiding where my spare tire used to be. I got about 70 pounds of 0 guage running from the alt back to my batteries. My box is over 8cuft so I have absolutely NO space in my trunk, my amp barely fits, but it hits hella hard, I already broke my sunroof by making the mistake of turning it up with all the windows closed lol

@thoneluv Ya the best place to put it would be next to the box in the trunk and have ur 0 gauge run to the alternator. and try and hide the wires as best as you can
