  • i swear that plant burped in the beggining.

  • @ShastaLOL Duuuur! this was a campy B movie from 1960! of course the 1986 HUGE million dollar musical version is going to be better!

  • @UnsuspectingJerks Eh, as far as the movies go, this one blows the musical out of the water.

The show as it was off-Broadway, however...there I could go either way.

  • classic

  • @ShastaLOL No kiding!

  • 1:02 - Your such a dildo???? WTF???

  • lol I heard it!

  • i think she said dodo?

  • @crazyrandomboy either way, its slightly weird

  • very good movie.I have it =]

  • Wtf...

  • May 27 is my birthday =)

  • how can they make it colour i thought that wasent possible

  • "You Dirty Rat Plant"!!! That's my favourite scene...

When was this colorised? I have the B&W DVD...

  • o wow that looks like shit!

  • is this 1 a musical??!!??

  • The first version is not a musical, but it sparkles with wit, charm, and stupid dialogue. Yes, the movie is cheesy, but that's what lends it its charm. There was a time when major features were always accompanied by B-movies, and this one in particular, became a surprise hit. I hate the musical, polished version. There are some colorful characters in the old version who are not found in the new. Roger Corman was the king of B-movies, filmed in 2 days on a $40,000 budget. I have the DVD.

  • I thought it was $30,000?

  • The figure comes from a film documentary on Roger Corman that was aired two years ago.

  • Oh, well, OK. I got the $30,000 from Wikipedia. lol.

  • Most colleges and universities do not allow their students to use Wikipedia as a resource.

I have this DVD and I play it over and over again. My family thinks I'm crazy. I particularly like the scene when Seymour encounters the prostitute. The dialogue keeps me in stitches.

  • I know, that scene is hilarious. I just use Wikipedia for fun.

  • The greatest film of all time. Every universal truth ever sought is contained within if you just watch very closely. After all, it spawned an Oscar-winning movie career for one cast member and became a signature camp musical twenty+ years later. Pretty profound for a flick shot in two to three days on Skid Row!

  • "What's the matter don't you like me?"

    "Too boney,"

    "Too boney?

Nobody ever told me that before,"

    "Beef is better than veal"

    "Oh, You're such a dodo,

What do you call THIS, chopped liver?"

    LMAO

  • bogger

  • i never saw this movie but i do know that this movie was made in 2 days & this movie was made in 1980 & the other movie little shop of horrors was made in 1981 bogger

  • lol i love how in old trailers they HAVE to show the name of the movie about 50 times -.-

  • He looks like dick van dyke

  • I've only seent the most recent movie. Is this one supposed to be funny? I can't tell.

  • it sound likes homer simpson

  • This was the original 60's movie of Little Shop that started it all. It was made in an musical play in the 1982. The movie musical was then release in 1986.

  • Did u know this movie was made in 2 days?

  • 4 Days.

  • it was rehearsed for three days and shot in 2 days check out the special features on the new DVD

  • I did check it out on the DVD, man. That's how I know.

  • Dude i read it in the newspaper today it was TWO DAYS!!

  • Was it the tabloids? Or are you just making false claims to try and prove your point?

  • Dude, the creator of the original Little Shop of horrors just died last week and they had it in the paper that he created this movie in TWO DAYS!

  • Wow i much prefer the newer one... This is kinda creepy!

  • OMG, I couldn't help but laugh at the part when Seymor was "hypnotized" XP. It's SOOOO fake. It's looked like one of those trailers in Grindhouse, without the gore...

  • This was the insperation for little shop of horrors,

this film was only made in 2 days thats why it looks so bad

  • LMAO! I love it.

    Did he kill a hooker?

  • lol

  • when i was 10 the faces in the flowers sceard me and the MA sound thay made

  • Yeah, esspecially at the end when it's Seymour's face "I didn't mean it.". Freaked me right the hell out. O_O Haven't seen this version of the movie inna while.

  • i got this on dvd 2 days ago and just watched it oday its great

  • That scream at 1:15 sounded so fake and cheesy..

  • What exactly did Seymour mean when he said at the end "I didn't mean it"?

  • the plant didn't mean to eat Seymour. it was just so hungry.

  • No no it was just Seymour saying at the end how he hadn't meant to do all the killings to feed the Audrey Junior plant, That plant really would eat just about anything placed in its mouth it really wasn't all that particular about who it ate.

  • i prefere the musical "feeeeeed me!"

  • That is so cheesy. <333
