Honestly, it's a recurring theme in a bulk of his dialogue but there are many black people who feel that with his educational background and middle-class status, his authenticity comes into question as being able to identify with the plight of poverty stricken minorities. To be honest, I don't like talking about it myself because it gets redundant, but until prejudicial practices are obliterated, there will always be acrimony and protest over its ubiquity in society.

Any time you want to incite racial tensions, and divide the country on racial lines you invite this Dyson character to speak. All the evidence so far suggests that this episode was much the fault of the uncooperative Professor who broke in to his own house. Racial profiling never occurred because the caller never suggested there were black men at the residence. It surprises me that these men can claim to be friends when it appears one of them is lying and putting words in to the others mouth.

I have had close black friends throughout my entire life, and most of them routinely assume that white people will be treated better than black people by the cops. This may have been true before I was born, but these days it is more of an urban legend than an actual practice.
As a wayward youth, I quickly realized that the cops would not cut me any slack due to my skin color. Too bad my black friends were wrong about that because I could've used a break = ]

I don't claim that "racism doesnt exist", but I believe that people MAKE it into an issue more than it ever is. For example, there have been several occasions in my life where I had a conflict with a black person and after the dust settled, they told people that I called them a nigger (which I never did!) One time, a female black cop arrested me for no good reason, and when I got the arrest report, she wrote that I was uncooperative and said "shut up nigger".
Sound familiar? Was that racism?
