Well, as far as i remember Jay admitted using steroids but he said that in heavyweight pro bodybuilding it comes with the territory. Though he seems like a cool guy, has awesome physic, makes Canada proud ;-).

I think bodybuilding would be seen in much better light, if bodybuilders would talk about their substance use openly. How much they use it, when, what kind, their effects on health etc. But they would never do it, because their job is to sell fitness industry products; like vitamins, additives, supplements, all kind of modern snake oil. This means big money. And since streoids are illegal, they would all probably get a prison sentence.

@Quex01 If pro bodybuilders would spill their guts about the substances they induce to achieve and maintain their physique, the entire supplement industry would go out of business and be outlawed (and like you said, those guys would most likely end up behind bars). The myth about steroids being harmless would be burst for good. Almost all of those guys got health problems due to the stuff they consume, but you only hear about cases like Lee Priest's heart surgery or Arnold's or Mahilic's liver..
