  • I must add that I in no way endorse Moisey's Church. However, I'm thrilled to hear comments from Ukrainians and others about this ceremony and the divisions in Orthodoxy in Ukraine.

  • Who is this guy? Some quack probably.

  • I didn't know this, but he was accused by bishops who left his synod of holding strange practices ant beliefs (reincarnation). Moreover, even those bishops who had previously remained (the one in France) have left him so you're probably right. Too bad Daniel of Mexico (who seems to be serious) is still commited to such vagante sect instead of joining a canonical jurisdiction.

  • Come on - Oleh Kulyk (Patriarch) use to practice black magic in parishes in the USA in the 1990's. What a joke.

  • Yeah, I suppose that's the opinion of most Ukrainians and indeed, he proclaimed himself "Patriarch" surrounding himself with strange vagantes who often cause confusion among the Orthodox in other countries.

I must add however that their group in Mexico is "quite Orthodox" in its theology and practice, too bad they haven't looked for a better leader and a legitimate Church.

  • This man went from being married to being single to being a monk to being a priest, and now he is patriarch.

    Give me a break.

  • @BorislavX He was dismissed by then-Archbishop Vsevolod of the UOC of the USA under the Ecumenical Patriarchate. He's bad news.

  • He is a Patriarch like I am a ballet dancer.
