Walken had the privilege to act in two perfect scenes, this one, of course, and the Russian Roulette scene in the Deer Hunter. I have to say, that last one still packs an incredible punch every time I see it....but this one, the wording and the darkly comical nature of this scene is beautiful, and the Aria chiming it just as Hopper looks at the burning lighter, clips it shut, and laughs as he remembers why Sicilians aren't pure to this day.....cinematic gold.
