To k3304, you might get it through you head that since it never snows there...... they may be just a bit unprepared. There are also a bunch of stupid people who go out and drive and never been in snow before...... it's also a safety issue. (Oh, and I doubt that there are a lot of great heating in the schools, (Which I went to when I lived there) plus I doubt that kids have the proper coats for being out in the thirties for long periods. So ya, to people who live in winter states, it's nothing.

"Idiots" is a strong word my friend. Las Vegas doesn't own a single snow plow or deicer. Our school's buses don't have snow tires or chains. Nor do they have salt for the sidewalks or play grounds. The suburbs saw 3" and it stuck to the streets all night. If one kid had been hurt who would the idiots have been?

Started good. Got a little weak as it progressed. Wish this video had captured (as the local TV stations did) the snowman built at the "Welcome To Las Vegas" sign.
