Does someone have a huge dilemma with polarbit games..? I have a Samsung GT-i5700.. It runs a 800mhz Cpu but all polarbit games lag like hell.. but the same graphical game Speed Forge, runs great? Plz help..

Its not the CPU that counts, its the GPU. Thats why games look better on the droid than the nexus, and why the iphone(3rd gen) has good graphics. The iphones processor is only 433mhz or something(well its underclocked to that), but it has an awesome SGX 535 GPU, droid has a SGZ 530 GPU.

First of all, he's running these games on his G1 phone which is running android 1.5. The G1 is old news and the slowest of the android phones, the Droid is as fast as the iphone 3gs and the Nexus One is even faster, both with updated versions as well. Anything the iphone can do these phones can do and better. Developers just need to wake up and create good games.

@Son37Lumiere Sigh....I don't like it when people, who are non-developers, make cracks at the developer community. I am a new developer, I took my first year of java last year and made my first android app this summer. One thing I wish would change in the android market is that 24 hour return policy on android apps. The android community can easily pirate my apps and the apps of fellow developers. Its very simple, if you want more quality android apps, you have to actually buy them.

Yeah, iPhone games are pretty cool. I think that's due to how large games can be. Some games can be as big as 100MB on the App Store. I still prefer Android because of its open source. I have a G1

Everything is interpreted through java, thats why this game is slightly laggy, but java is not THAT slow and all 3D objects are buffered onto the onboard graphics card of the phone to speed things up.

More like the G1's 3D performance. Android runs 3D just fine on competent hardware. It even does 1080p 2D video output without breaking a sweat.
