i think when we hide frames the rig disappear.

  • I AM BUYING THIS SOFTWARE!!!

  • I AM DOWNLOADING THIS SOFTWARE!!! XD (joke)

  • Is it possible to import an avi file, and capture images from that file to make the animation? Webcam sucks.

  • can u have the background be a pic?

  • which is the best stop motion pro version for still images

  • I'm going to do this with my blue screen!

  • for the greenscreening do you have to use the live video thing or can you import pictures because i cant get ether one of my camaras (one a logitech web cam the other a coolpix camara) to work so i heave to save the pictures and import them

  • thats so coool!

  • Very nice! Just a few questions:

What is the max res that you can work with e.g. can you work in cinema standard 2K?

Are there any motion blurring tools for smoothing out rapid motion and creating a standard 180 degree shutter motion blur, to match a movie camera motion blur?

  • it depends on what version you get of stopmotion pro to bring it to 2k res

  • great demo, thyanks

  • I GOT A WEBCAM FOR CHRISTMAS!

  • i really respect you, your a really awesome at Stop Motion Pro!

  • lol animation was funny. post that animation on youtube lol

  • Where'd you get the cool figure? Please reply.

  • It's a Stikfa.

  • HELLO paul!

  • I can't find it in tools

    I have v4.0

  • whered you get the little figure

  • how much does it cost to download?

  • too much (80-2500 dollars)

  • Your the best at stop motion pro. i gotta subscribe!

  • i use a quick cam it sucks i have no good quality

  • I like this. I will have to see if I can do this.

  • It's hard to get the green screen to come in this good....even when the tolerance is boosted all the way...what's the deal? I've got 4 lights on it. That def. isn't the problem.

  • you gotta have it evenly lit to remember..I usually do one light shining straight down, and then one light shing directly on the sides on both .and then im short one light but im gonna buy another to shine the front...you basically gotta make sure there are no shadows.also maybe try differnt color backgrounds to but beware if they are neon, they will reflect soo bright the color will go on the figure..if all else fails,,digitally paint the background(i have to do sometimes) takes about 2 min 4 pic

  • I've made a green screen using this method, but when I wxported it, the green screening stopped.

How do I export it, and get it to work?

  • good but ajust the tolerence more theres still a little bit of blue borderin the stikfas

  • mate, this guy works at stop motion pro.

  • ya i know, sooo whats your point

  • my point is that your smart comment is out of place. leave it there man

  • oh im sorry i insulted you, but i personal messaged him and he said "ya i know it was a quick tutorial" i didnt insult him at all im sorry my comment so deeply disturbed you, good day

    Squeegeey

  • no, no. firstly, you are not sorry; i know you feel no remorse. you personal messaged him? he replied? well done man! I belched today.

Your comment was of no disturbance to me, I just disliked your smart arrogance portrayed.

    "good day"

  • ohhh dear! you are making a wally of yourself today! I just looked at StopMotionPro's last login: 3 weeks.

    good day small boy.

  • oh im a wally oh dear, you talk like a pussie

  • yeah i knew you'd do this. i knew you'd start dishing out the insults because you know you're in the wrong. you really are a mentally (and no doubt physically) obscene being.

  • shut the fuck up it doesn't fucking matter its just a comment leave it be dip shit

  • how do you expect me to leave it be now? youve just insulted me. i know it was just a comment. what does that matter? im going to evaluate your videos now. expect the worst.

  • you spend too much time trying to piss people off

  • Comment removed

  • hahahaha the puppet flew away!lol

  • hey paul! its me, KnokNokk, i subbed :] love you tuts, you allowed me to e sure to but stopmotion pro!!!! TYTYTY :]

  • cool

  • is it a download or do you have to pay for it

  • it's a download for at least $80

  • where did you get the figure

  • does it have to be live filming if your doing greenscreen or can it be done with stored frames

  • HI, you can only do the greenscreening on a live image....sadly!

  • That was really cool, pretty funny too.

  • this is amazing

  • Great stuff!!! 5 STARS!!! You prove there ARE artists still using the "each one, teach one" technique...and I support those individuals 100%!!!

  • Wow! I'm now looking into this! But one question: If you download the free version does it go away after 30 days or something...Or can you have it for a REALLY long time and keep it, but just have the water make?

  • You can use it 21 times for 2 hours, so if you plan your animation you can have plenty of fun. The Junior verison is not too expensive...it has greenscreen.

  • Thank you! :D

  • thats awsome

  • where do u get the guy u used?

  • they are called Stickfas, just google 'em

  • I know ive just dicovered !

  • How much does it cost or is there a free version?

  • yeah i am on it now

  • Is there a time limit and an watermaker in the demo?

  • yes

  • that tutorial was hilarious

  • i now

  • very very cool

  • whay program is it

  • StopMotionPro

  • sweet.

  • This is the BEST Stop motion program for windows EVER!!!

  • it wont get my camera i got the trail it wont find my camera it is so annoying

  • vision lab is way better

  • how did you do it when i use it it look s awful

  • You need to be fairly careful with the colour and light. Make sure you use a really clean blue or green colour, in nice strong even light. Try and avoid hotspots with shiny material. I like the coloured foam sheets you can get from art shops - they are not reflective.

  • wow! i really want stopmotionpro now!!!!

  • Paul help! I did the stop motion pro free trial. And I did exactly what you said for chroma key. But when I add the background in to the blue screen my armature becomes fuzzy. Why? Help! PLEASE!

  • remember you got to put the bar next to it upwards to get a cleara image

  • increase the tolerance, its the same in most programs XD

  • does a white screen work?

  • technically yes, but not in practice, as most objects have some white on them; any highlights where the light source played off your subject would also become invisible, etc.

works best to use a colour that doesn not appear on any of the things you want to keep :P

  • Primary colours are best, you can make sure they are not part of your subject matter. White might show up on your subject (eg as a highlight or something).

  • nice one, this makes a lot more sense than the instructions.

  • cool program, I shoot all of my sequences independently and then time them, make a separate vid, and chroma key that into the background, it looks like your setup is faster. Nice.

  • You can work either way - you will probably get a better key if you do it again after you finish shooting - export the movie "without key", then use your editing software to do the key again.

  • Wow so really that can save a LOT of money. You don't even need a blue or green screen, you can just use a 1-color anything.

  • thank you for this tutorial! i was wondering if u could do one showing how to have the figures jump in the air and to take out w/e u use such as string...instead of holding the figure off camera such as in this video. Thank you again!

  • how was the figure so well stable to the floor????

  • I build clay models of the same proportions without any wire armature that stand just as stable.

  • I tried that with pipe cleaner once XD

  • It's a stikfa - a little plastic "doll", if you will, that is made specifically for animaiton. They have magnets you can place to the bottom of their feet so they can do basically any pose if a foot is on metal. Also you can fit the magnets into their hands. But if you're not animating on a metal surface, you just place some clay to the bottom of their feet. They're very lightweight, yet strong, and therefore can support themselves easily.

  • cool

that was probably the easiest way to chroma key I have ever seen

  • how do u make punches and stuff in the movie?

  • very constructive critisism

  • Well said

  • how the heck do you save the video with the chroma key effect? i've tried numerous times, but it has failed each time!!!!!

  • lol mainaclay!! Wats up!!

I don't have the program but that sounds weird... just after you're done with it all, close the green-screen window to the right of the live action. Then save it as a generic file such as an avi.

  • Nice it's really helpful

  • great video presentation-exinco

  • you make it look so easy!

  • hahhh thats awesome

  • funy

  • Good video, but one thing wrong. You can't use any bright colour. Blue and green are used because they are farthest away from the skin tone, which won't screw up the person in the shot.

  • Awesome.

  • Excellent stuff.

  • Witch is the name of this software?

  • it says on the topic i believe..

    "Stop Motion Pro"

  • He also said it a few times too

  • Do I really need a web-cam for this?

  • Its awesome but how did u do your stickman. What did you use to made that stickman. Is it lumber? or plastic? I'd like to make some stickman but i don't know how. plz say or make video tutorial how do you make your stickman. PLZ

  • I'm pretty confident that the "Stikfas" figure you are referring to can be bought at any local or online hobby shop. I also believe Stopmotion Pro will also provide a figure with every purchase of their program.

  • that is awesome! I want that program soo bad right now!!

  • lol looks like he's flying!!!

  • thank you

  • Never knew it was that easy. Cheers

  • thats kool

  • yeah thanks for the education

  • yehah

  • Excellent stuff! Thanks for sharing!

  • AWESOME!!! i want part 3!

  • thats amazing!!!
