There is a bit of logic here. The ladies gloves are for riders whose palms are protected by the grips ( which may or may not be heated) while riding the bike. The passenger gloves have heat in their palms because the passenger's hands are not shielded by the handlebars.

This heated gear works extremely well, however there is some missing information regarding the ladies gloves. According to the manufacturer, the only gloves with heat in the palms is the passenger touring gloves. I purchased the standard ladies and they do not have the heated palms.
