This is only a piece of jewelry. If you look closely, you can see that it is cut in a diagonal curve in the back, possibly for comfort against the wearer's chest. It probably doesn't even move. However, that doesn't mean I think it's junk. I think this is a very nice looking piece, and I'd buy it given the opportunity (and a decent price).
