  • Black Ice is what is missing from the airwaves. He represents what REAL HIP HOP means. Over a lot of people's heads, but legendary. Yes...LEGENDARY!

  • the lord overlooked us when he handed down his graces

  • I would love to hear more from him! We need more poets speaking truth like this!

  • I would love to hear more from him! We need more poets speaking truth like this!

  • ...When will we move on...

When will we stop making excuses...

When we we decide that we CAN rise above...

When will we admit that the only people making black men into drug dealers are black men......

THEY ain't foolin' us anymore...WE are fooling ourselves.

Rise up, black boys, taker responsibility for your own actions, for in doing so, you cease to be black boys, and evolve, into black MEN

  • black men dont make excuses they make money they do what they can to provide for there family and be able to eat at the end of the day stop saying we are making excuses

  • I call it as I see it man. I am a black man myself, and by what I see, as a whole we use what we say are injustices as excuses to do the immoral. No matter how you spin it, drug dealing, pushin', selllin', or whatever you want to call it, is WRONG. It ruins lives and perpetuates stereotypes. The once glorifying the streets don't seem to be the white man, but rather our own men. Jova, Wayne, Jeezy? They are not white after all...

Hey its just one mans opinion...

  • yea opinion im blk too n that would b true if thats wut it was but its not entirely like that...

is that the only predecessor you fools know about anyway?

  • dumbass listen! i said that he paved the way not created it! besides what the fuck you replying to my shit for anyway! next time listen before you become so quick to open your mouth and never come at me like that again bitch! fuck go reply to someones elses shit and get off my nuts boy!

  • get real man, tupac has nothing to do with def poetry whatsoever, and as far as i'm concerned, he wasn't very innovative, a good writer... quit clownin like you know dick about hip hop or poetry in general

  • I see where the both of you are coming from but the truth is Poetry has been means of influencial delivery ever since languages have started. Prophets and scholars who have been for hundreds of years and still are have paved a path for poetry. and just a couple of are Shakespeare, Langston Hughes etc.
