You see embraces, fall short on the numb tips of street entrepeneur fingers....damn this guy really does a paint a picture of reality, dumbass niggas need to start using their ears...
black men dont make excuses they make money they do what they can to provide for there family and be able to eat at the end of the day stop saying we are making excuses
I call it as I see it man. I am a black man myself, and by what I see, as a whole we use what we say are injustices as excuses to do the immoral. No matter how you spin it, drug dealing, pushin', selllin', or whatever you want to call it, is WRONG. It ruins lives and perpetuates stereotypes. The once glorifying the streets don't seem to be the white man, but rather our own men. Jova, Wayne, Jeezy? They are not white after all...
this is exactly! what I was thinking. Especially dealing with Lil Wayne fans, if you find something about him you dont like and tell it to them, tehy call you a hater..
black ice is a lyrical demon...he just kills it!...definately no contenders to his...4get Shakespeare n all of em...this is TRUTH!!!!!!!!!...BLACK ICE IS MORE THAN A GENIUS...
That's not true at all! No one can stop you appreciating what you want, that comes from inside! And if you listen, you'll know that 'only for black people' isn't a message this man aims to spread.
2pac paved the way for these guys to come out and have a voice..its not that they dont have skill they have all the skill in the world but...but 2pac was the voice that made people want to listen to real shit! r.i.p pac!
dumbass listen! i said that he paved the way not created it! besides what the fuck you replying to my shit for anyway! next time listen before you become so quick to open your mouth and never come at me like that again bitch! fuck go reply to someones elses shit and get off my nuts boy!
get real man, tupac has nothing to do with def poetry whatsoever, and as far as i'm concerned, he wasn't very innovative, a good writer... quit clownin like you know dick about hip hop or poetry in general
i thought i told you to get off my nuts! as far as im concerned i dont give a fuck what your concerned about! i never claimed to know about hip hop or poetry smart ass! i could give 2 fucks about you so IM ENDING THIS SHIT! you can say whatever you want after this but ill say it again get off my nuts!
I see where the both of you are coming from but the truth is Poetry has been means of influencial delivery ever since languages have started. Prophets and scholars who have been for hundreds of years and still are have paved a path for poetry. and just a couple of are Shakespeare, Langston Hughes etc.
Black Ice is what is missing from the airwaves. He represents what REAL HIP HOP means. Over a lot of people's heads, but legendary. Yes...LEGENDARY!

...When will we move on...
When will we stop making excuses...
When we we decide that we CAN rise above...
When will we admit that the only people making black men into drug dealers are black men......
THEY ain't foolin' us anymore...WE are fooling ourselves.
Rise up, black boys, taker responsibility for your own actions, for in doing so, you cease to be black boys, and evolve, into black MEN
