Hey guys I love In Flames and posted them on my Facebook page called "New Metal, Metalcore, and Deathcore bands/Songs Every Day"a while ago. the whole structure of most of the songs on the album have excellent elements! i do agree though that they do kinda get repetitive.. but altogether i've never heard a band such as in flames with the versatility and amazing hooks and great structure of most of their music!

Even though the older stuff In Flames has put out is the best music ever, and the newer stuff has more or less disappointed me, I still have to agree that this is a kick-ass song. Good headbanging material!

@nattbrygd actually my brother the good part definetely starts at 32 seconds into the song.like the strenghth of the gods charging into hell to battle oblivion.lol.i have loved in flames for quite some time and own every album.lol funny how ppk say they changed but we both know everything changes eh? to me there is no favorite song from from flames becuz there are at least 15 that are absolutely top.however top 5 is definetely pinball map .it gives strentghth to live

I own no album but i will definetly buy them when i have money, and i have listened to them since 2008 atleast. My first metal band ever that i listened too, and still my favorite! A shame i havent bought them already...

A lot of similarity in this intro and the intro to puzzle and enter tragedy,not really a recycle worthy riff. I feel the same about this album and Jesper's new bands song both being descent but not making me constantly replay them. I accept the different directions they're wanting to take with all do respect.

Best album so far, and I'm truly happy that they decided to work on and make progress from A Sense of Purpose. IN FLAMES makes a lot of progress with each album and I think they're close to what they're striding for. This IN FLAMES will live on, so if you want the old IN FLAMES back, you may aswell forget all about it. This is the new decade, not the mid 90's.

My goodness..this album is really awesome...for me, metal album of the year!!!!!!!!!!!!!... I really like the vocals...the high pitch is not there anymore, it sound different but I like it! And the lyrics are great! In Flames is back!

The difference I hear in Jesper not being here is that during the melodic guitar parts there isn't as distinct a tone between guitars. What makes the melodies of in flames is the fact that the guitars compliment each other. When they sound the same the song sounds cheap and lame.
For all you people who do not know: Jesper was the one who stood for the newer sound in In Flames. Just because he was the only original bandmember, that doesn't mean at all that he was the one giving In Flames the more "brutal" sound.
Not digging the new album. Then again I really didn't care for Soundtrack to Your Escape or A Sense of Purpose. Seems like they may have lost something special when they lost Jesper.
the album is a grower ! more catchy, mainstream and all but come on, this is really well written ! Darker times and Where the dead ship dwells would have to be my favourite.
@Bloodshaded I like the new In Flames alot..:)...but my fave albums will always be The Jester Race,Whoracle,Colony,and Clayman...but i still like all of their stuff...and this new album is pretty damn good
Anders lyrics are clearly talking about 9/11 and the banksters control over the world. In flames has hinted this before but never so up front before. While I liked Come Clarity and A Sense Of Purpose this is their best effort out of those 3. Clayman will probably always be my fav though. In Flames We Trust from Alaska!!!!!

Great back, In Flames did they best on this album. That song is amazing, one of the best on new album. I dont know, why peoples talk all that shit about "step back". Imo SOAPF is way better than previous album(which was lets say good) Now vocal is more agressive in mature way. Solos and riffs are better too. All i want to say is that -IF are still awesome, no doubts of it Keep rock and Trust all In Flames fans \m/
As a die hard In Flames fan and loved everything they have ever done even the missteps. I love this album. Love this band. Lunar Strain to SoAPGF. Excellent.

I always enjoy listening to how a band evolves musically and lyrically, and while not my favorite album, this will be bought and played repeatedly, but my only gripe is that god awful vocal mixing
I've been looking at the release date for the album on Wikipedia, where it says "June 15". Turns out it's only out in Sweden on the 15th, and on the 21st here in Amurrica. DAMMUT

The chord progressions of their choruses really do not change that much. These guys still make some of the most entertaining pre-choruses though.

Great back, In Flames did they best on this album. That song is amazing, one of the best on new album. I dont know, why peoples talk all that shit about "step back". Imo SOAPF is way better than previous album(which was lets say good) Now vocal is more agressive in mature way. Solos and riffs are better too. All i want to say is that -IF are still awesome, no doubts of it Keep rock and Trust all In Flames fans \m/

As a die hard In Flames fan and loved everything they have ever done even the missteps. I love this album. Love this band. Lunar Strain to SoAPGF. Excellent.

The only song I really like on this album. Overall quite a disappointing album, althoug it's better than A Sense of Purpose.
I miss the old In Flames.

I always enjoy listening to how a band evolves musically and lyrically, and while not my favorite album, this will be bought and played repeatedly, but my only gripe is that god awful vocal mixing

I've been looking at the release date for the album on Wikipedia, where it says "June 15". Turns out it's only out in Sweden on the 15th, and on the 21st here in Amurrica. DAMMUT
