Your bird is so gorgeous, shame he died, but it's good that he lived such a long time with you guys and died in comfort. Unfortuntely, my birds died today. One was 2, the other was 5. They were attacked by something, we're not sure, but we're thinking it was a fox. Their wings were ripped to sheads, we found them barely alive this morning and were forced to euthanize them.

I can't believe I didn't hear anything, I feel so guilty..

RIP Marb and Bex, such sweet birds don't deserve this.

@METALMAN4Wii : A small %percentage% of cockatiels live a very long time. I have 2 'tiels and one of them (Sweet Pea) is 9 1/2 and the other (Cinnamon Stick) is 24 yrs 1 month.  Cinnamon was hatched in early December 1986 and bought by me on January 2, 1987 (I wrote down the date). I'm very glad he's still alive!

It will pass. I've had accidents happen with my birds as well. I try to remember all the good things about them and not think of the death. I always will have love in my heart for my cockatiels no matter where they are, or if they were dead or alive. I'm sure you will always have love for your conure too. And I'm sure it loved you too. Just always remember that :)
