I LOVE THESE VIDEOS !! I LOVE SHOES! Always have been obsessed with Lovely shoes :) I have never liked the plastic cheap factory shoes. As soon as my babies were old enough I so enjoyed buying them REAL Leather "first walkers" Because they are beautiful! Like a fine art...*sighs* I Love your shoes! Thank you for posting about them! Even though they are Mens I can so appreciate the art!

Yes but where is the upper made? Could be anywhere but a lot of companies get them made in Asia to save costs. Then they do the rest here and can still call it made in England (or where ever) because only 20% needs to be done here for it to be called made in England.
Marcell keep up the work, member of the forum, Disregard any idiots from the United States who blabber out there but when they don't know anything when it comes to shoe making. If muscle would watch before he complains he would find out that the nails are removed. He probably is big but no brains. Most people here in the states think a good pair of shoes or boots are from the retail shelf in stores, they don't know the feel or fit from a custom pair of shoes or boots. Bootmaker in Texas
I don't agree with you. You would never check the aerodynamicswhen you buy a Rolls Royce, you wouldn't care the modern materials if you would order a bespoke suit from an Italian master - then why you complain about weight, when you see an ancient craft, making really old traditional shoe?
Believe me: these shoes are comfortable, much more healthy than those lightweight junks, and never course a smelling foot, like them. ..and a strong man can wear a real shoe, no, even if its a few grams more?
Sorry, I don't agree with this shoemaker. All those nails in a shoe add WEIGHT to the shoe. Have any of you ever walked in heavy shoes and then walked in light shoes. There is a huge HUGE difference. I'm waiting for day when they can make shoes that weight 5 onces but still give good support. They can do it because they now have the material but for some reason it hasn't clicked yet that extra weight has any importance at all on feet. It does more than anyone thinks.
If you are referring to the nails in this video, well, they are taken out later, just watch the next videos. Those Nails are just to make the upper stay at its correct place before being sewn into the insole.
It is wonderfully ironic that someone who calls himself musclehulk would cry like a bitch about the few extra ounces the nails add. The are old school finely crafted dress shoes, dimwit, not running shoes.
wow ur amazing. I appreciate buying a shoe much more now. Its rather unfortunate that the people who do the actual work in the background r the least paid. yet the companies that its given to are more than profiting 100 times more. it slike they make their 7 billion a year while they give the actual laborer a dollar 50 per a day. eitherways i appreciate the work that goes into making crafts.
This is great, I find the proccess of making shoes interesting. This video helped me most, 'cause I wasn't sure how to do the outside part and this gave me more of an idea of how, thank you for sharing!
You have nice nails for a guy! I'm dying to learn more how shoes are made and it would've been helpful if you subtitled the process or something. But thanks for the videos. I'm sure those who already know the basics get much more.
wow, I love the plier-hammer tool!

Part one was great, very documentary like. But the music here just ruins part 2. I can't get any studying done at a nightclub.
