  • THE BEST OF THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I miss this Korn.

  • thumbs up if they sound better live than on the album

  • songs real funn to play live if your in a cover band, people may not even know the song, but it gets everyone moving in one fashion or another, great song

  • One of my favorite songs of all time. Korn for life!

  • KoRn! uwielbiam ich !

  • WTF?! it sounds exactly as in the studio!! i tought that only Chuck Norris can make this perfection but guess what? KoRn is here to prove me wrong...

  • @vlad26148 KoRn are beast live ! . period

  • One of the best songs ever by this band. The best band there is, was and ever will be.

  • KoRn RoCkS!!

  • 0:01-0:02 is my fav part

  • For me the Apollo gig was the peak for Korn. They'd done their heaviest/craziest paying-their-dues albums. Then the 'poppy' breakout album. Then they pulled it together for Issues and promoted it, before its release, at the Apollo - first white band to be there since Buddy Holly or some shit (look it up, I cant remem.). It's a small setting so they arent jumping around & far apart but just looking cool as shit and grooving together. Great album.

  • @1Eu4ic

Are you referring Follow The Leader as the 'poppy" breakout album?

  • @Neckromorph Yes, as in having radio-friendly songs which spread beyond their fan base into the mainstream. Any band that has verse-chorus-verse-chorus songs, especially on Mtv, contains pop elements. Not necessarily a bad thing either..

  • @1Eu4ic

I can agree with you there. I've always viewed the verse-chorus structure as a mainstream thing, but Follow The Leader still had Korn's unique style so I've never really considered it being a breakout to mainstream album. It's actually one of my favorite Korn albums (maybe my favorite).

  • @Neckromorph Yea, you basically have to adapt somewhat to the style of the times/culture (so that people can digest it) but at the same time make it unique. Korn did that on many levels, and FTL certainly presented that in a special way. I like a lot of indiv. song on Issues too, but I can detect on certain songs them kinda wondering 'Ok, where do we go from here?'

  • i like how it sounds with the audience mixed in singing

  • Best live show I've ever seen

  • i miss korn so much, they died when head left

  • I think this is the 100th time I've listened to this same song over about a month, yea yea call me obsessed....cuz It's true

  • Great song. Great concert. Great band. I hate the kilt for Jon I liked the addidas jumpsuits haha

  • was at their concert a few years ago before they startet making commercialshitty music.

loved it. my favourite band when i was a kid.. good memories tho ! :-)

  • @AlexxanDritaaa Dude... have you heard some of the songs from their new album?? That is NOT just commercial crap

  • @slipvayne112 sign.

  • @AlexxanDritaaa ASSHOLE!

  • wow anyone else notice the teleprompter at 2:20

  • @jjsonson

Yeah there is one. I think it's a bit of help for JD because at this show they were presenting the new album (issues) and they played the full album from song 1 -> 16. So it's a little hard for every lyric to remember :)

  • @jjsonson I heard Davis used so much drugs back then and it took its toll on his brain. He cannot remember all lyrics he's written :(

  • Issues is just so good... I'm blown away of the awesomeness of this album!

  • They don't know how lucky they are...

  • i had this dvd and i lost it :( KoRn is the reason i got into music, i used to be obsessed with these guys, still got Heads guitar pic tho! its one of my most prized possessions

  • PLEASE PUT THIS ON SOME SITE I CAN DOWLOAD IT ON!

  • This concert was sick, even watching it at YT i felt really ON!

  • this concert was gorgeus, only watching it at YT i felt relly ON.

  • One of the few bands that sound just as good, if not better, live as they do recorded. They did some of my fav songs at the apollo in 99....... wish I could have been there!

  • KoRn is definitely a live band they can play great studio and live

  • this song makes me want to yell and jump :D

  • 2:21... is that the lyrics of the song????? o.0

  • @hetfield024 yup jon needed that thing on freak on leash woodstock 99 he screwed up the begining

    he sold it well tho.

  • @hetfield024 The album had just been released; and it was a quick production. It was probably hard for him to have remembered the lyrics to an entire album that had only been made a short while ago.

  • блин он так офигенно поет..

  • You fuck me up

    i´m gagged and bound,

you pick me up, when i am down

    i cannot live without them

i do not live without them*

how to say it? it´s just awesome "symfony"

  • Why is there a singer in the back with a turban on?

  • Comment removed

  • nice band.... my idol will from las pinas

  • good old times <3

  • Jonathan was quoted as saying "Daddy is a nickname that I have for myself, this song is sort of like a message to myself". The song references depression and medication mostly.

  • @rottencore0 shut up

  • @TheBigDickInYourAss Good reply! Really made me think.

  • Great performance from koRn

  • so amazing live

  • i believe his dad was raping him coz all his songs about raping

  • no a family friend rapped him not his dad it was this girl when he was like 10

  • Jon was raped by a female ,( said to be his neighbour) when he ran to his parents, they didnt believe him.

  • @MrDanlucas u are gay and u sucked a dick

  • @TheBigDickInYourAss I'm gay? funnily enough your name is about a dick in someones ass, and due to your gayish nature, its probably your dad's ass. you sick fuck,

  • @MrDanlucas a korn fan would think that, because korn fans are retards that got raped like a bitch.... by me

  • @TheBigDickInYourAss Now you're a gay and a rapist ,Wow life's good for you. idiot

  • @MrDanlucas no ur just gay, go cut urself to slipknot now

  • @TheBigDickInYourAss You'z be trollin'.

  • @MySwordForPaganGods Obvious troll. OBVIOUS! Just look at the name >_>

  • @q8y4ever90 Inaccurate, most of his songs are about drugs, depression, people, being bullied, and the world. I dont know where you got the assumption that all of his songs deal with his dad raping him lol.

  • @DeadByLove You forgot that some of his songs are about his past too. Mr,Rodgers for one,Daddy,

  • @DeadByLove Read the lyrics of some songs. His dad did rape him idiot.

  • @TBrown945

lol are you fucking stupid brah, give me some fucking facts right now. This song isnt about his dad raping him im tired of you panized headed fucks act like you know what your talking about JD was raped by a family freind which was a WOMEN. go back to 2nd grade and get a blues clue pal.

  • @TBrown945 deadbylove is right, his dad didn't rape him, he said so on a interview. the song is about his parents not believing him when he told them that a family friend raped him (who was a women but name not reveal by jon)

  • I always thought this song was about his son being born. Thats what i interepeted the title as. The song daddy off their 1st album is a bout a family neighbor molesting him & his parents did nothing bout it nor wanted to listen to him.

  • Actually I heard otherwise it was about a different band member not JD as I am guessing in the first album. Heard this from a guy I knew in the Arny who saw them several times, partied with them as did not go big time at that ime. No matter what who when where and why-if I ever knew of a crime that people should die for when not commiting murder-that would be the one I would vote for

  • @daveme7 no its definately jon. He told his mother and she said she didnt care. And she already knew, she saw it with her own eyes. Jon had a fucked up childhood for real. Thats where all the power in this band comes from.

  • Its called hey daddy bc people uset to call Jon daddy like his girl friends and shit. He said it himself in an interview

  • definteley one of their best songs!

  • I went to this concert limited tickets which I bought 2 out of 250 from Krock's Radio station in NYC listening party for Korns record release party. A lot of people dont know that among the celeb's to see this concert was. Chris Rock, Busta Rhymes and more. Apollo is not known for rock concerts but It was a last minute decision by Korn to have this and The Apollo was the only venue available that night.

  • The Sound coming from Korn was so loud that I thought the 100 yr old building was gonna crumble down. Awesome night!!!!

  • they were invited to play here they were the first rock metal group to play there.

  • @mcmrider actually second "rock" but first metal

  • FUK YA KoЯn FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!

  • Uh, JD is hawt =D

No, what I meant to say was that this song is fuckin' great, loved it since I heard it and I still do!

  • I know we will someday see the original Korn again.. and they will kick maximum ass as we all know they can.

  • yeah i can't wait

  • Jøhn løøks lïke ä pîrâtë ïn thøsë çløthês xD

  • is it me, or does JD look like a Pirate in those clothes. haha...

  • lol instead of headbangin in this song... the crowd jumps

    Even JD! =)

  • Love this song <3

  • love his voice and his clothes!

  • This is my favorite album of korn

  • hell yeah the next best one is the untouchables

  • @zydrate0adict mine too bro

  • @zydrate0adict by farrrrrrrrrrrrr its the best album i have fucking heard in my fucking life... Im not an obssesed fan of the bands I like, but Issues was by far the best

  • god the guys couldn't give less of a shit about playing in front of these faggots.

  • im surprised he didnt cry

  • this isn't daddy this is hey daddy two different songs.

  • i kno but id expect him to cry during the song

  • y would u expect him to cry?

  • i know right?

  • well dude would you be crying if you were singing about your dad beating you???

  • yea i would be

  • thats not what its about...this song is about meth addiction, not all his song are about his dad raping him

  • Yeah i know ot all of his songs are about his dad raping him... I never knew it was about a meth addiction.. It seems to me that it is about his daD sexually abusing him because of the title

  • @person2456 wow. his dad never raped him.

  • I love JD's singing in connection with the choir. Just awesome!!!

  • this song is the shit KORN IS 4EVER

  • god!! thats fucking awsome!!! KoRn rules!!

  • what are the lyrics?

  • yea... i kinda agree with u..

  • and 2:11 is the most intense singing Ive heard Jon sing in a while

  • Comment removed

  • I 've never heard Korn with backing vocals. It's sounds good!

  • lol I think thats a dude actualy XP

  • it cant be!

  • ... is that even a woman???

  • ohh its a woman alright. o.o

  • its a women.... but di i with her? well i guess there a better ones out there...

  • the concept of this song is so freaky. its basically about schizophrenia and hallucinating that people are there to hurt you but they don't really exist...

  • i once had a dream like that :o

  • dang man, I wish Korn was still doing it.. Issues was my favourite album from them next to Life is Peachy

  • listend to korn sense day 1.

listen to korn till the end.

  • Lucky.....

I used to think like...oh...Justin Timberlake was the best singer ever when i was like.....5.....now....since i was, what, 10 my friend showed me KorN her brother had the Life is Peachy cd i fell in love with his voice...and ever sinced i've liked them....i dont think i ever really had the brain to comprehed what Jon was talking about but now that im 13 i know. I wish i was REAL Korn Kid...JD, is like...the greatest vocalist i've ever heard....

  • I dont know, i wouldnt really compare Steve to Jon....but im only 13, so....

  • FUCK THT STEVE PERRY

Jon is fucking god he's the

    best singer of eva

  • Comparing Steve Perry to Jonathan Davis is like comparing watermelons to......gorillas!

    Two COMPLETELY different entities!

Both are awesome, in their own right.

I love and respect BOTH! Too bad the rest of the world isn't as openminded....

  • hahahaha another retard comment here.... Steve perry is good.... but comparing to JD? has no point....

  • Absolutely brilliant. 20 years from now, people are going to talk about KoRn the way they talk about Black Sabbath now. The most influential and epoch-making band of the last 20 years, bar fucking none.

  • lol ur right this music will be played forever

  • im addicted to KoRn!!

  • they tell me to hurt myself

they tell me to burn myself

  • word people thaT JUS START LISTENING TO KORN R GONNA LOVE IT

  • i started listning to korn 2 years ago and i loved it

    they're awsome!!

  • word they r sick they are the biggie and 2 pac of nu metal no1 fucks wit theres sounds and riffs

  • limp bizkit's tried, but got nowhere close lol

  • lol they had like 3 albums

  • like a said, they completely failed.

  • wow... it's the songs like these that make me cry. KoRn is brilliant, anyone who says otherwise doesn't deserve to listen to them. They're so much more than just a metal band.

  • Love the songs with all the emotion :) they really dig me

  • whats this song about is it related to the song daddy

  • The song Hey Daddy has nothing to do with the song Daddy...in Hey Daddy he is talking to his Split Personality named Daddy...and in the song Daddy he is talking about his neighbor molesting him

  • that is the stupidest thing I have ever heard his dad did not molest or rape him him and his dad and his mom said many times it was a female neighbor so shut the fuck up AND THIS SONG IS ABOUT HIS SPLIT PERSONALITY

  • no his neighbor molesting him was Mr.Rogers. It was talking about how Mr. Rogers tells you to trust your neighbor and his neighbor molested him. Daddy is about his dad raping him

  • No it fucking wasn't

Mr.Rogers was about how being nice to people get you hurt

    Hey Daddy about his schizophrenia

AND DADDY was about a female friend of the family fucking him as a child I've heard the interviews of him talking about it saying many times it wasn't his dad

  • Mr. Rogers was about the tv show.. and how John hated him because he made it seem like everyone was your "neighbor" and that everyone was so kind.

And a female neighbor was the one who raped John, not his dad.

  • sad

  • his voice sounded so good back then unplugged and now he needs it. thats called speed

  • KoRn the Best Band of the World!

  • this makes me cry, so fucking good!

  • Oh Man... Reading the articles and listening this and other songs I guess his Dad's a real idiot! I'm sorry but to do not trust your son just because is young is a bull shit... Or maybe He just takes care very much of that friend... Anyway I'm very sorry Jonathan! You're story makes me cry!

YOU'RE THE BEST! HOLD ON ( Just like u said! )

  • your talking about the song "Daddy" not Hey Daddy this song is about his split personality

  • Lol! U got it man!!! My bad! Name too similar! Anyway His sstory still very sad and I'm with him at 1000%

  • OMG!!! KoRn sounds fuckin AWESOME!!!

  • omg 0:55 that was really dumb part O.o...

But whatever, She was there, lucky for her.

    -___-''

  • lol, thats funny, its also where i was disappointed to find out they were censoring their selves...thats sad to me. no band should ever be made to censor their art

  • ?u like her so somthing?

    u like her dancing lol

    jk

    dont spaze

  • cant belive how good they sound live

  • especially the bass it sounds perfect with the closed envelope or open envelope effct something like that

  • HEYYY DA D DY

  • lady at 0:55 looks like a fucking idiot

  • 0:52-0:55 lol <3

  • everybody does that everybody forgets their own lyrics every once in awhile

  • alot of people agree and disagree but i really really like the back up singers in this and trash...the back ups would sound sick if korn had like a marching song i guess would be the best way to put it. great song and performance

  • who are doing the backing vocals??And why are they "cutting" out the "fucks"?

  • because it was being streamed straight 2 radio stations across the world

  • HA! They took it out when JD says it, but not in the (pre recorded) backing vocals.

  • they are not prerecorded. There are actually two guys in the back doing the backing vocals

  • Wow. I did not know that. They're gooood.

  • Yeah they need to hire them and can Kalen Chase's sorry ass. I saw them live in TN and Kalen fucked all theyre songs up. He sounded so gay. Like a dying chicken

  • Great Song!

  • 2:21...look at the bottom of the screen..

    is Jon reading his lyrics?

  • yeah...read.

    And Why? He can't Text...Lol

  • i never noticed that lol

  • yeah he has a telaprompter live because i guess he has some memory issues from drinking and doing drugs heavily back in the early days of the band before he got sober

  • well they had like 50 songs at that time. so they prolly blend together sometimes.

  • Jerry Garcia never used a teleprompter...
