thank you for the lectures...they are really very helpful...but i have 1 question...the corpus callosum is a bunch of axons going from one hemisphere to another...but, precisely from which area to which area? and why is there this requirement for such a cross communication ?

sensations do NOT simply pass through the internal capsule. they climb up to the VPL thalamus and THEN they will be destributed to the cortex
