Just saw in the news tonight that the Universal Studio in FL is dumping their Jaws attraction. I wonder if this film had any part in that decision. It does seem like Spielberg's on board with the idea.

@Kryptonite1371 The JAWS section of the tour in Hollywood has basically been this exact same thing. You see a guy in a boat, the boat sinks, barrels start moving through the water, the vehicles pass a bridge, it tilt over, the shark hovers above the water and passes the train. The main change they made was in the 70's the shark has giant carrot shaped teeth for some reason, the newer one has smaller teeth. That's about the only change.

P.S> i just did my research.. since i was an actor in L.A. for ten years i recognized the first two people at the beginning.. the bum and the prostitute were both a friend of mine named terrance... he told he that they WERE infact going to use it for Saturday night Live..Will Ferrel , Rob schneider.. etc etc were going to be in it as well, BUT since Universal didn't like it, they pulled the plug on it, and cut the scenes with the SNL stars and someone just released it as is :) but still funny
