Beating moltres sucked!!! I went all the way to the top just to get my ass beat a million times! Then I went all the way back down took out 6 reviver seeds and left the dungeon with 4. Suck it moltres!! One of wasn't even you bitch hahahahahaha!!!!! It was one of those damned fearows and their fury attack!!! FML!!!!!!

Best way to beat him:

Get TM Attract and teach it to Mudkip.

Link Attract, Tackle, Mud SLap and Water Gun.

MOltres can't hit back and you do like 70HP per turn!

if you are at save chamber before peak you can return to entrance and farm for a bit, and stun/sleep seeds help a lot on bosses you should store them.

I have a Totodile as my partner and I'm a Cyndaquil, so I just linked all of my partners moves(Leer, Hidden Power, Water Gun, and Scratch) and then I just used Smokesceen....it was really easy for me...

I just fought Moltres with a level 18 Torchic and Treecko. I lost two times (I sent Treecko into a corner, too) until I decided to see what happens when I teach my Treecko Secret Power. It confused Moltres twice and I was able to get in a few good hits that finished him off in the end (nearly lost again, though)

USE Growl if your like lvl 20-. If you dont have growl you could be in some trouble. I think having a Pikachu as your partner is good since it has paralysis and stuff.
