If Feinstein works for Highspots, why not just have him do the interviews? Yeah, people might hate the hell outta Feinstein. But Goddam, this interviewer is fuckin boring as all hell!!!!!
i dont blame jacques for what he did but he was a coward for the way he went about it he might of got his ass kicked face to face but at least he would have gone down like a man and sent a messege out to DK that he was not afraid of him i dont dislike either of them in fact im a fan of both of there in ring work but im just oldschool in i beleave a fight should be one on one and face to face
oh bullshit. They were around til April 94. A loss to Jacques and Pierre in September 93 would have NOTHING to do with them leaving. As for his assertion that they were horrible. BULLSHIT. Pierre maybe but Jacques Rougeau is a LEGEND, the Steiners are/were not. Why do you think Scott had to ROID up so hard!
@Elfop1ccolo No, Scott had to roid up to be someone other than one half of a mediocre tag team. Jacques is legendary across Canada (One of the more well known wrestlers) and into the states as well. Dream on if you think Scott and Rick were better, they weren't even COMBINED!
@rmathew2 Um, hi, douche? Why don't you fuck YOURself asshat? If you've never heard of them and you're canadian, you're a bigger moron than i thought.
stfu dude, idd they are in no way legends, maybe in canada (or your part of it), wich is still questionable since you got real legends to be proud off like bret, owen, benoit (ok questionable too, but you cant deny his talent), jericho, christion, lance storm, and so many other, and then you call the quebecers legends, listen to yourself :p
@Elfop1ccolo In the Quebec and eastern part of Canada, JACQUES ROUGEAU is, I never said Pierre (Carl Oulette) was. (Read my older post) I hate to tell you that ANY true wrestling fan who lists all time Canadian greats would list Jacques ahead of everyone on your list EXCEPT the Harts....
@BestMusicExpert Clearly you are having some trouble with the english language, must be a frenchie. Anyways, my point stands, Bret Hart and the Hart family, legendary, Quebecers, only in frenchie land.
@rmathew2 First, he was really talking about the Rougeau family, not the Quebecers as a tag team. Second of all, his English is probably a lot better than your French, so go fuck yourself ! And last but not least, you're a fucking narrow-minded, bigoted little racist bitch who doesn't seem to understand that the entire Canadian wrestling scene has always held the Rougeau family in high regard. You and ZenPimps are just like that «Get back to your province» YouTube kid: ignorant and stupid !!
@SickerThanThou Quebecers, Rougeau family, whatever same difference. Fuck you too frenchie supporter. Lastly the original comment was that Jacques Rougeau is better or more well known that Scott Steiner, neither is true. My additional comment was that Bret Hart is twice as famous as any Rougeau, which is true.
@rmathew2 You can't say "same difference", because the two are simply not the same ! And is Bret Hart more famous than any Rougeau ? Yes ! Is Steiner more well known than Jacques Rougeau ? Steiner's been slowly losing both his mind and his credibility in TNA lately, but whatever. Yes ! Is Scott Steiner better than Jacques Rougeau ? Back in the day, they were pretty much equal. Nowadays, Rougeau can still work, while Steiner is a clown. A famous clown, yes, but still a clown.
@SickerThanThou If you dont mind me asking, where do you live that you have seen Rougeau in the past 10 years in a wrestling ring. The only time I would have seen or heard from him is on WWF programming. The only thing I remember Rougeau for was cheap shotting poor Dynamite Kid backstage with brass knucks, Rougeau is gutless and couldnt stand up for himself man to man.
@rmathew2 Rougeau just recently retired after running his own wrestling promotion in Quebec for many years. He occasionally wrestled there and could still work a full match without being carried. That obviously doesn't make him more famous than Scott Steiner, but it proves he's been a better worker in recent years. And you have a weird definition of "cheap shot", because Rougeau attacked Dynamite Kid face to face after months of bullying from Kid and he never used brass knucks.
@SickerThanThou Dude the story is well known, I believe Bret Hart's take on it. Rougeau 100% used brass knucks, he knocked out a bunch of teeth, and he left Dynamite standing there in shock and agony, he never went down. Bret said the Rougeau bros bailed out of that place right away, and then went off to Europe to escape any backlash. I heard Rougeau describe it, and I dont believe it, he said one clean punch did that much damage.
@rmathew2 It was actually a roll of quarters that had in his hand when he hit Dynamite. And though they did bail right after the incident took place, it was also adressed shortly after with Vince himself. And the Rougeaus didn't get any backlash, because in the end it was an act of self-defense against a bully and a backstage poison. And the Rougeaus never "escaped to Europe", they had dates to do there, it was part of their touring schedule. Don't try to make it sound like they ran and hid.
@SickerThanThou Yes they were scheduled to go to Europe, you dont think they planned this attack around that to avoid any backlash? In Bret's interview he described Vince sorting it out weeks after it happened, and Dynamite only went along because Vince was holding salary back. As much as a bully Dynamite may have been, I think even being French you should admit that it was wrong the way Jacques handled things, specifically using the quarters or knucks instead of fighting him man to man
@rmathew2 I'm not saying he was a hero in the way he handled the situation or anything like that, but on the other hand I don't think you can blame a guy who's constantly been attacked for months, just for trying to find a way out of it, no matter how shitty his solution seems to be in hindsight. I got bullied a lot in junior high and I know for a fact that at some point, you end up just trying to survive and you're desperatley looking for a way out. Most of the times, you'll do something dumb.
@SickerThanThou Yes I agree, but these are not kids we are talking about. Jacques was not only a grown man, but a pro wrestler. In the old days, that actually meant you had to have a certain level of toughness. I just think it should have been a man to man throwdown.
@rmathew2 The ideal situation would have probably been a man to man throwdown, of course. But whatever, what's done is done and now everyone's got their own little version of the story that fits their views on each of the guys involved. That's how the wrestling business goes and that's why I like these shoot interviews.
@SickerThanThou There are 2 versions that float around and the one that Jacques told is incorrect. He said he manned up and hit Dynamite as hard as he could with his fist. Bret Hart and the Stampede guys will say that Jacques and Ray came up from behind on Dynamite and Jacques sucker punched him with a roll of quarters or knucks or some foreign object.
@rmathew2 I tend to think that the truth is somewhere in the middle. I wouldn't be surprised if Jacques Rougeau somewhat embellished the truth to make himself look good, but I'm also pretty sure that his actions weren't as cowardly as portrayed in the "Stampede version" of the facts. My take on it is that Rougeau indeed had his brother to back him up and did use a roll of quarters, but that the attack was not done from behind. They just probably waited for Dynamite to show up and then BOOM !
@SickerThanThou I actually agree with you, but I would lean more to the Stampede version. If this someone Jacques was so afraid of, I would expect him to give himself every advantage possible.
@rmathew2 Totally good on Jacques for not only ambushing Dynamite but also using brass knuckles or a roll of quarters. Dynamite Kid was a known bully (and bullies are bullies, same mentality whether kids or pro wrestlers) and allegedly attacked Jacques from behind first. I do not feel an ounce of pity for DK for not getting attacked "man to man". DK lost that moral highground a long time ago. And kharma got that scum too, now that he's toothless, legless, broke, and estranged from his kids.
@peterp21 From the stories, he only had 1 or 2 altercations with Jacques, and all he did was slap him from behind. He also locked him in a submission hold. There were no other wrestlers specifically bullied. He did not deserve what happened to him for this only. I would have been more ok with him getting help from his brother, instead of a roll of quarters. Unfortunately, your point is probably correct about karma over what he did to his wife.
@rmathew2 I think we've been having a pretty damn good discussion for the past few days and I think you're smart, even though we disagree. So could you just stop insulting my people now ? It's really annoying, dumb and racist. I currently live and work in Saskatchewan but I'm from Quebec and yes, my first language is French. And it's funny because the only anti-French comments I ever read or hear are on the web, where people are anonymous. Face to face, nobody ever calls me a frenchie or a frog.
"Ligitimy"? Steiner gets none of my "simpy" for his bad grammar.

Jacques Rougeau didn't stay very long in the WCW, while the Steiners were very well known in WWF & WCW, thus gaining more international appeal.
If Rougeau had a longer career in both WCW and WWF, he would have been more popular today.
However in Québec, Rougeau family are the Hart in AB, and Von Erichs in TX.
Jacques Rougeau had enough of McMahon, and wasn't happy with the direction that wrestling was going.
