  • Goaltending is a prime reason why my Avs are off to a strong start. Craig Anderson has come in and provided a boost they didn't have last year between the pipes.  It's an 82 game year I know, but I don't think they'll die off easily because of the boost Craig has given them. Big Alberta swing next week with Edmonton and Calgary - should be interesting.

  • O'Reilly has been a great surprise here in Colorado. Reminds me on how Stastny came in the same year as Wolski... and all the talk was on Wolski at first. This year we have Duchene getting a lot of spot light leaving O'Reilly in the dark a bit and he's really starting to shine his own light here in Colorado. Also Congrats to Matt Duchene... Finally got that first goal and the best part is, it was against the scum! Avs now 6-1-1 and have been a great surprise.
