true everyone gets beat i was kind of torn between the result of that match even thou i wanted to see evans win and stay undeafted and continue to prove all the haters wrong....i have been doing shotokan and goju karate since i was 16 and i love karate in my heart so seeing machida win was also a mixed feeling but with his style of fighting and dedcation i find it hard for any current light heavy weight we have seen so far to be able to beat him including rampage who next up for a title shot

Like I said, Rua is an excellent talent. I love his Muay Thai/BJJ skills and he stands a greater chance than any LHW in the UFC right now. I've been a huge fan of Shogun's ever since he was in Pride but even Rua knows the Dragon is one of the best P4P fighters in the world. He said that his good friend (Machida) is the 2nd best fighter in the world (behind Fedor.) FACT: Lyoto helped Rua get ready for Liddell.

Hughes is pretty much the best welterweight ever. Hes got an awesome record and beaten most of the top welterweights of his time. What has Serra done? true everyone gets beat i was kind of torn between the result of that match even thou i wanted to see evans win and stay undeafted and continue to prove all the haters wrong....i have been doing shotokan and goju karate since i was 16 and i love karate in my heart so seeing machida win was also a mixed feeling but with his style of fighting and dedcation i find it hard for any current light heavy weight we have seen so far to be able to beat him including rampage who next up for a title shot

Rashad was overrated and overhyped PEROID. Evans only hit Machida 3 times in 2 rounds. I think that says it all. BUT that doesn't mean he's not talented. Like I said, Rua is an excellent talent. I love his Muay Thai/BJJ skills and he stands a greater chance than any LHW in the UFC right now. I've been a huge fan of Shogun's ever since he was in Pride but even Rua knows the Dragon is one of the best P4P fighters in the world. He said that his good friend (Machida) is the 2nd best fighter in the world (behind Fedor.) FACT: Lyoto helped Rua get ready for Liddell.

He's talented but he's not elite. Machida has already beaten Franklin & Penn. The man dominated Ortiz, Soko, & Nakamura. Evans' 2 "creditable" wins are against an over hill Liddell & an overhyped Griffin.
All you have to do is look at the size advantage, the opponents, the styles, the training camps, etc. and you'll see that Lyoto has a huge advantage in every section. Being explosive and have KO power doesn't exactly make you an unstoppable force.
