I gotta ask, do you have any clips of Antwain Richardson (Pee-Wee) from Columbus South or Ed Jenkins from West High School by Any Chance.. They are two of Columbus' most underrated all time greats and high light reel players... Pee Wee could fly...and Ed was like Shaq!!
I remember this kid. Top 5! Now this kid is niiiiiiice! Around this time there were a couple of name brands who fell off at the last minute- Lenny Cooke (Brooklyn Ho!), Schea Cotton (LA), Ronnie Fields (Chi)...etc but this dude has that classic NYC Boogie! I'm impressed.
I used to play with him at Bishop Hartley (shooting around). I was a bit younger than him but looked up to him like an idol. I was so disappointed when all that bullsh!t went down. he could have been one of the greats!
i known him when he was at independence and the real reason he was overlook was because of players like Lamar Odom, Tracy McGrady and Ron Artest who came out that year but the main reason was because rumors sprouted that he was a "loose cannon" that was sometimes uncontrollable (which was true) plus he came from three other schools and he didn't even graduate with our class because he was horrible student and he let Kenny Gregory out-shine him and take his scout from kansas he's crazy...Kenny?
Just in case you dont know.....This is the best high school player to ever come out of ohio!!!!!!! Lebron could not see him at the high school level. The NBA was only taking big men at the time. If they were taking guards??? It would have been a wrap
