I've never really heard of a handbell soloist before! I've heard of handbell duos and choirs (growing up in a Lutheran church) and even was part of a junior handbell choir...even though we didn't perform.

I hope Finlandia will _never_ be an official national hymn....because... Finlandia as born out of desperant situation, slavery, death, sorrow destruction.. for peasants.

It would be some sort of insult to now to make it an official hymn..

Because it is more _official_ for a finnish man/woman than any government official song could be.

We are simply beyond a point where Finlandia must be officially named to be our national hymn, it is our national hymn... its more than that.
