I believe" the Trux" actually played at the bar around the corner from "My Place" Not "the Hideaway" either it was the one bar the brothers owned????

I've been looking for this song for twenty years.I heard it once while I was in the Marines, just back from Beirut. A young bartender by the name of Velma stole my heart. She was from Mexico, Missouri. Thank you for posting this song. She was a good person. I hope she's doing will today. So, I left a small part of my heart Mexico and some one else has the rest of it today.
I love the song, the only small problem is that it was recorded a little too loud. The song would sound really great if it was recorded at a lower volume. I am from Mexico Missouri.

I actually was the "rodie" for their Mexico tour stop back in the day....right there in the High School theatre if I remember correctly ??
