I have a rescue Boxer (Mitch), I adore him,

but I'd love to find the b@*$^*# d who beat him & starved him before he managed to escape. The vet thought he'd never heal, but all his scars have healed, - probably because he was so young.

After a year of coaxing, he has finally started to play & have fun.

He is never alone.

@alyson32590 Not sure what boxer you have, but the 4 i have owned were the smartest dogs i have ever seen. Up until about 2 years old, i would have to agree with you (seems boxers dont learn common sense until after 2 years) but after that, mine turned on lights and learned to do things just by watching the humans, no training.

That's what I thought until my pit took down a rotty....one came into my yard; my pit pinned down the rotty in a second! Scared me! I've never seen my dog like that. Now I go outside with her. I don't let her out alone.

The rotty didn't belong in my yard, but just the same, it could have been a kid. I'd be in jail, i'm sure.

She's usually very calm and friendly. Not this time. She was guarding the house for sure!
