Its great that the author likes to keep saying that there were many versions of these myths (gods), then goes on to say that becuase the myths are not exactly the same as the Bible's stories, they cant possibly have anything to do with Jesus. You are such a great Christian. Where was it in the Bible that said " thou shall call all opposition names. That is the sign of a man without any more content to say. @Xyrelt - If you study the New Testament on it's own then you won't find the truth. Place it alongside Josephus and the truth becomes clear. One is based upon the other. Example - The ministry of Jesus in the gospels is based on the campaigns of Titus during the Roman-Jewish war.
This is the case.
This means Jesus was back-dated to a generation before 70, meaning Titus fulfills his prophesies. This also means Paul was written after the gospels and back-dated to before.

In one version of the story of Horus, his mother was a virgin, in another, she concieved Horus after resurecting her dead husband and through magic, gave him a golden phallus (because his was thrown in the river and eaten by fish when he was killed and dismembered.......pun intended). The church from Antioch that had the Massoretic Texts and Textus Recepticus spread throughout Asia, to India and even China this done by Thomas the Disciple, (according to tradition, yet we have evidence that China had thousands of churches that all kept the Sabbath) This Sabbath Keeping church was the biggest and the oldest of all churches, this church also went up to the Celts, and was known as the Waldensian Church.

Greek, jewish, roman and asian historians, the best of those days, the ones we use to create the history of that time, all said jesus was a real person, and most of them claimed his miracles were simple parlor tricks and he had another man get killed in his place to fake a ressurrection. That is the viewpoint of the most reliable sources of the time. So not myth that jesus lived. Fact.

I wasn't expecting to be engaged with an intelligent reply and my expectations were met; watch this video again and study Christian Theology and Chronology and you will see only two altered dates correspond with 'Pagan' rituals which in essence aren't at all Biblical as Judaism predates Mithraism but they will seem similar because they evolved from the same general culture, It's just as likely that Mithraism borrowed from Christianity as the other way around.
