  • Yes, Lord Tiger! Tell him Glenn says hi!!!!

  • @gtamir613 I played guitar with Motherless in the late 90's until I moved to Key West. Greetings to Myrie, Clive, Robot, Rhonda, Hymer and all the other wonderful people I played with and for. P.S. I married my favorite Motherless groupie Susan 18 years ago.

  • There is a Cecil known as Cecil the Banjo Man around Saratoga Springs, NY. You can find him playing on Broadway in Saratoga many nights a week especially around track season. I think it's Cecil Myrie.

Cecil Myrie is a legend. Tell your dad I love his tune "Bloodshot Eyes" but can't find the original record anywhere! Respect from London.

  • Please say hi to The Lord Tiger Cecil Myrie from me, Glenn. I started the band with Motherless in Saratoga Springs, NY back in 1984. We went to Jamaica and brought Cecil up with us. I used to love the wine glass limbo he does!

  • @gtamir613

Hey man I played keys with the band for a very brief period, a few months at most, sometime in the early 90s. We did a lot of gigs together, including a Jamaican hurricane benefit.

I learned more about reggae from Cecil in those few months than perhaps the rest of my playing time put together.

  • my father was also apart of the great band motherless and the merry knight and his name is cecil myrie

  • the greatest musician i ever had the privlege to play with.hope you are well my friend

  • Found 'em! He's in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

  • love the 'on the beach' part ^^, thanks for uploading!

  • This guy's name is "Motherless" aka Cecil Mitchell. Last I heard, he was leading a band in the Albany, NY Area called Motherless & The Merry Knights. He's an old friend of Roland and Knibbs and knew all the originals.

If anyone knows where he is, please post it. I've been tying to find him but no luck. - Skavanagila
