  • Fuck, you're stupid. Great straw-feminist argument.

  • @shirehorse91 It has nothing to do with feminism, it's about a dogmatist that thinks he ideology or form of feminism should be the objective standard of feminism. If you think she's a victim, or should even boycott Richard Dawkins because he doesn't agree with her, than you're a total fucking tool. Under those circumstances, you're not a feminist either. Only a dogmatist

  • @shirehorse91 I agree with this man and I am a gay male atheist and liberal. She is dogmatic with her feminism rant when she has 100% rights as a stgraight white female.

  • @Clemburke1111 Gay male atheist or not, your comment proves that you don't understand the issues and aren't will to open your mind.

  • @shirehorse91 LGBTs are lacking 1700 rights what rights are straight women lacking in America ? Please list them ! Open your mind and read a book , feminism today is a joke, they have 100% equal rights.!!!!!

  • @Clemburke1111 Your comment shows that you clearly have no knowledge of women's issues.

  • @shirehorse91 I asked you what rights women are lacking not what issues women have. EVERY ONE has issues , Its called life bunky!

  • @Clemburke1111 I said 'women's issues' not 'everyone's issues'. There's a difference, but I'm not surprised that you don't understand basic human rights.

  • @shirehorse91 Everyone in America has basic huma rights except LGBTs, crack open a history book or two.

  • @Clemburke1111 Yes, but it doesn't mean that they don't experience discrimination. That's right, Regan waved his magic wand and all discrimination ended in the 1980's. You don't have even a basic understanding of the topic you are trying to address.

  • @shirehorse91 Discrimination is every where! Obese people to midgets to atheist to muslims , If one lives long enough one will exspierence age discrimination and sometimes discrimination is a good thing ! I would discrimniate against an alcoholic watcing my children or a pediophile teaching my child, We all discrimintated while in the dating world.

  • @Clemburke1111 So, pedophiles experience the same discrimination as a transgendered person. Really.

  • @shirehorse9Yes and discrimination towords pediophiles is a good theing..

  • @Clemburke1111 Why would I care what happens in a foreign country. LGBT do have the same rights as everyone else.

  • @shirehorse91 LGBTs are lacking 1700 rights!

  • @Clemburke1111 LGBT have the same rights as everybody.

  • @shirehorse91 No they do not ! LGBTs in America are the only Americans with out full state adn federal rights.

  • @Clemburke1111 Like I've already said, what happens in foreign countries do not change the laws of my country. LGBT are protected under the charter and have the same rights as everybody.

  • @shirehorse91 Are you retarted LGBTS are lacking 1700 rights in America !

  • @Clemburke1111 FFS, the laws in foreign countries do not effect the laws in my country. LGBT have the same rights as everyone.

  • @shirehorse91 Are you living in America and you are American ? If so we are lacking 1700 rights as gay Americans , The right to our partners retirement to share adoption , to funeral rights and on and on, even Hospital visitiation all under the name of Marriage !

  • @Clemburke1111 FFS, I'm Canadian and LGBT have all those rights.

  • @shirehorse91 We are talking about an American woman and something that happend in America, and women in America have full rights . So this Rebecca Twatson is a fool to call this thing sexist., because it is not.

  • @Clemburke1111 You are trying to project US law on the UK. They aren't the same. It happened in the UK.

  • @shirehorse91 This woman has full rights here and there, but all her daily rights are 100% in America and she is pissy over an elavator ask out, ? If that was two gay men I just would say to the man who wanted to fuck me " thanks but not thanks "and walk away. This woman has the same right as straight men.

  • @shirehorse9 Her stance on feminism is about equality in America , and as for the UK women have 100% rights there as well. Feminism is a joke, there is not more rigths to fight for.

  • @Clemburke1111 You're a misogynist and have no idea what her stance is.

  • @shirehorse91 If stating facts makes me a misogynist then that is what I am.

  • @Clemburke1111 You state no fact nor do you provide any evidence. You simply spew hatred and stupidity everywhere.

  • @shirehorse91 I have asked you for the list of rigths women are missing in American or even England and as of yet you will not answer. Why will you not answer ? Because you know damn well you have 1005 rights as does Rebecca Twatson. Both of you are whinny cunts.

  • @Clemburke1111 More of your MRA stupidity.

  • @shirehorse91 No ,you are the one that is stupid, feminism is dead in the water because you have as many rights as a straight man, but you want and excuse to bitch .

It is probably because every feminst I see is butt ugly and angry and I am sure as hell you are too, rebecca Twatson looks like a bucket of mud.

  • @Clemburke1111 Stop wasting my time, idiot.

  • "...some guy , he hit on her , and when she said no he backed off."

Just .... Why do you who regularly make so many good points and analyse so well in so many situations, grossly oversimplify in this particular matter ?

It seems to me that you say like Dawkins. That only when we get rid of womens big problems elswhere (like murdering of girlchildren) , only then can women in the western world start fighting the rest of their problems here at home.

This is more nuanced than you make it seem.

  • @Flapjackbatter explain to me the crisis of a guy hitting on a girl in an elevator, then backing off when she reject...

I can't for the life of me see it. And the reason it's said that there are more troubling issues to look at, is because it's true,

She made a mountain out of a mole hill from a typical everyday experience, and painting the guy up (or anyone with such behaviors) as being inappropriate or even condemnation worthy, when really it's not.

  • Yes I concur with the totality of your video. She really made much too much out of this, in my opinion.

  • @EuphoricImpact totally, this is something that happens literally every second of everyday. As long as the men (or women) don't push their boundaries (like insisting after "no" has been established) or endangering someone then it's not any more significant than the sun rising or the sun setting

  • @skinnywhop87

I viewed the video in question... and I recall the five types of gender based harassment points that was addressed. Why did it have to be made into a gender issue? Am I missing something here? I stated that each one of the points illustrated happened to me. I did not list that they all happened to me since being on You Tube. It also happened before I made one video.

  • @EuphoricImpact Yeah, the reason it's put in a gender format is to be another divisive point. It's the whole "us vs them" mentality. It's similar to "hate crime" legislation. It makes things that are already crimes, seem worse.

If she was really skeptical, wouldn't you think she would also highlight female sexual harassment? You see with her, if you apply something an individual female did she would say its on that 1 person, but if the same thing happened in the case of a man, it would be a

  • @EuphoricImpact ..... systematic conspiracy that needs to be addressed

  • @skinnywhop87 Yes I figured it was another incarnation of the us versus them paradigm. What a waste of time. I am sure it is convenient to ignore that she is trivializing real incidents of concern. What some people will do to garner attention. This appears to be nothing. but an energy ploy. Does she have any misandrous leanings? It would appear she does for this to be "systematic". I am still shaking my head over that interview.

  • @EuphoricImpact lol you and me both. I was watching it basically saying "WTF" to myself everytime she spoke. But it's not only her, there was another girl in the interview who was egging her on. lol acting like that bald guy from David Letterman's show who laughs and agrees with everything he says

  • What gets me about #MenCallMeThings and the hashtag referenced in the rebecca watson interview, a lot of people contributing don't acknowledge the simple reality of trolls, a lot of people who post comments like that are trolling, they are posting stuff like that intentionally because they know that they will react, successfully trolled I say

  • @KrissytheWorldWithin in any case I plan to do a refutation of the #MenCallMeThings hashtag, let her call me a troll lol.

  • @KrissytheWorldWithin lol we're all trolls if we don't agree with her holiness

  • @skinnywhop87 I posted a very virulent comment on the video you linked, you should check it out.

  • @KrissytheWorldWithin lol classic. I agree, she perpetuates negative stereotypes directed towards feminists. This is why many people don't think feminism is a real worthy issue, because she nitpicks at nonsense

  • @skinnywhop87 Exactly people like her get all the attention, while people who are addressing the real issues have to fight against everything to get any attention from the media.

  • @KrissytheWorldWithin Yeah I don't even really consider people like her to be real feminists. What they are is female supremacists. I'm all for most REAL feminists causes, but it turns me off when people like her try to make women seem like either weak minded victims, or strong minded victims.

One of the things that turned me off with my own culture is the whole constant self-labeling Jewish victimization nonsense. I see the same behavior with these female supremacists

  • @skinnywhop87 Its not healthy to always see yourself as the victim, sometimes you have to realize you have the upper hand, Watson has the upper-hand against most of her comentors because she is very well know, she has a large soapbox to shout her opinions from, where as if you are a comenter on Skepchic, like on most feminist websites, you run the risk of being censored or banned if you offend the content provider.

  • @KrissytheWorldWithin Yeah very true. Lol we should start a trolling campaign against her, by making her use of the word "chick" in her name.

lol give her a taste of her own nitpicking medicine by telling her it offends she used her username to equate females with animals. "Women are not chicks, they're human beings!" lol

  • @skinnywhop87 I'm already drafting a video against her and her cohorts, I could throw that in as a fun thing at the end.

  • @KrissytheWorldWithin lol do it up, you could do a better job setting her straight than i could

  • @skinnywhop87 oh its going to be epic /watch?v=1LmOy5IiJMc

  • @KrissytheWorldWithin lol ha nice, gotta love the Irish
