  • 2:45 :EPIC PILLOW FIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 2:21- *wink, wink* Yes, George was pretty cute back then...

  • Cool

  • This would have been perfect on Beatles VI..

  • The Beatles were definetly unaware of their exceptional talent. How could they have been preferred "Act Naturally" to this song for the LP Help? "IF you've got troubles" isa way more better.

  • I don't see why people don't like this so much. This is a great song!

  • "Oh, ROCK ON -- anybody!" haha

  • how can i only be the 100th one to like this?!?!?!?

  • I love Ringo so much I could sdfghjkljgfdrgthjkl

  • Considered by Macdonald to be the worst single thing ever recorded by the group I actually find this throwaway more listenable than some stuff that made it on to Beatles albums (Act naturally, Maxwell's Silver Hammer, Don't Pass Me By, loads of their early covers and half the stuff on Beatles for Sale...).

  • @CultureJudge DITTO!!!!! =D

  • Nice video, though

  • Awful, awful song. Thank god it didn't turn up on Help!. And that solo! Ugh.

  • In my opinion, this is Ringo's best song.....it's a bummer it didn't make the Help album. But at least it made it's way to the Anthologies!

  • This could've been on the Ringo album. Without that weird "Oooooh!" thing, though.

  • @FerryMan226 I was going to say the same thing @GoDawgs1991 said but with different words. His early drumming didn't require too much diversity. Straight rock'n'roll, that's all. The only things that were needed to be heard were the cymbals going crazy and a beat. The boys didn't ask a lot to him as well so, as they went, they wanted more from Ringo so he started exploring by the time they finished the Revolver album. You can say the same thing about Paul's basslines: before and after Revolver.

  • @FerryMan226 Go listen Ticket to Ride, Strawberry Fields, Come Togethor, Hey Jude, Something, Polythene Pam, and then you will find out that Ringo did a lot on the toms. And pretty much all the fills he did on Abbey Road are on the toms, such as Golden Slumbers, Carry That Weight, and the drum solo on The End.

  • I don't know why they considered this song substandard. Then some people started calling it bad as well so they will have a chance to say that ow there's finally a bad Beatles song which they themselves considered bad. But this song is fucking good, way better than many of today's music. It had good lyrics that made sense and it has the funny essence of Ringo in it and I even found myself singing this a few times when I felt down. Its a really catchy song and it deserves some respect.

  • -sigh- ringo looks soo damn HOT in the 1st pic! where did u find it?! lol

    btw, awesome video

  • Great drumming by Mr. Starr!

  • the first picture...yuummmmm

  • This is a great song! It's not super brilliant, but it's a good solid rocker. I agree that its' superior to Act Naturally and some of the other covers that WERE issued at the time. "Oh, rock on, ANYBODY!" Ringo always had the best sense of humour of the four.

  • I like this song. It is better than "Act Naturally". But even if the Beatles preferred "Act Naturally" to be on HELP, this song is way better than "What Goes On" and would have been a good one to put on RUBBER SOUL as a Ringo song.

  • @coachbk1 I love this song, but I don't think it would fit on Rubber Soul... Sounds more like a White Album piece to me to be honest, I guess The Beatles were ahead of their own time. Creepy :/

  • @coachbk1 The worst song of all time doesn't really fit in with the rest of Rubber Soul if you ask me, so I'm going to disagree.

  • THIS IS THE BEST SONG EVER! -3 =)

  • Sue me, I like this better than Act Naturally.

  • RINGO ROCKS,A GREAT DRUMMER TO!!!!!!!!!!

  • Catchy Song.

  • Ringo is a freakin genius!

    The Beatles are amazing.

Excellent video!!! Great job!! Well done, mate!!

  • TONY SHERIDAN recorded a "Demo" of This Song in-1964 , and had-said , at That-Time , that He had co-written the Song , with PAUL MC CARTNEY , back in "the Hamburg Days".

  • @thePharoah90650 I haven't found any evidence that Tony Sheridan had anything to do with this song. All the info I've seen credits this as a song written by John and Paul for the Help! sessions as a song for Ringo. But not being satisified with the track, they dropped it in favor of "Act Naturally", their cover of the Buck Owens tune. Ringo was big country/western music fan, and liked the track. I think the middle eight of this tune is brilliant. I disagree with those who say it's not up to par

  • Wow.

Ringo is so hawt in the first picture.

  • F....g catchy song. Love to hear it. I don't care if it's bad. Of course it it. It's just a rehersal of what could be a hit. But I don't care. I love it.

  • @daftpunk3494 Your name should be "deaf-punk". Point of Fact: I'm sure I know music better than you... but, let's just agree TO DISAGREE....and be done with it.

B.t.w..... When is the last time you had your EARS checked? hmmmm.???? Good day to you Mr Deaf-Punk.

  • Has to be the worst Beatle song ever. (and you thought that there wasn't any, didn't you?) And, as a bonus...the worst Beatle lyric ever "Oh rock on... anybody!" leads into George's worst guitar solo ever. Wow.. Crummy at it's best. Of course, it's all Ringo's fault, right? The rest of the boys were laughing their butts off in the background. 'had to be!

  • @bohtzsah2002 No...The worst Beatles song is still Piggies.

  • @Xmenfan246 What? You imbecile. What a dork opinion. George is hilarious on that tune.

  • @bohtzsah2002 No that would be Revolution number nine

  • @Migglyman ...

Hmmm? Perhaps you're right. I'm listening now.... barf ahhh urglll...cough. cough. You're right.

  • @Migglyman revolution number nine is beautiful, just very very strange

the worst is what's the new mary jane

  • Ringo's a beast

  • LOVES!

  • Happy birthday Ringooooooo I love you!!!

  • Oh Oh!......you think I'm soft in me head, well try someone softer instead than you think..... how could they possibly have come up with these lyrics for poor Ringo to sing?....anyways a great Beetle tune, maybe the greatest save That Means A Lot.....

  • It definitely feels proto-punk to my ears, lyrics and melody-wise. The chorus from Green Day's song "Sick of Me" shares a bit of melody with this tune.

  • RINGO!

  • great song - thanks

  • whats the crack with this song? i love it but nobody seems to know it. whats with all the ringo hate? i think hes got a great voice.

  • This was a bitter and unfair comment from John to his first wife Cynthia. I don't understand why John became so angry with her because he was the real one who failed while they were together. She never put him down or something else. And even John didn't want to sing it, maybe he was too ashamed because of his mean words towards Cynthia. Thank god that they did not want to publish this embarrassing song. The Beatles had very good and of course excellent songs, but this song is not very good.

  • @SgtOBrien Well I never thought about this but you could be right. Think then again about That means a lot, it could be a two sided affair with Paul always trying to accomodate things, aka Hey Jude for Julian.

  • @annabelvandasselaer I read that this song is about John's relationship towards Cynthia in the time around 1965. He said that she was spending a lot of money for a luxury life. John seemed to be very angry about this, but I think he played not fair. Cynthia loved him, raised Julian and he had flings without thinking of his family. But the lyrics are very, very hard and rude for a wife.

  • this song is great but but its quite repetitive and sounds like monotone - maybe thats why it got excluded. Anyway i like it especially george's solo and when ringo said 'oh.. come on anybody!'

  • Its great but the lyrics are pretty condescending, and the constant mention of the diamond ring is a cliche which the band had already used in Can't Buy Me Love and I Feel Fine...so i guess those were the two reason for it being cut.

Its still a great record though.

  • Raw Ringo at the beginning xDD

  • Great! Cool song! The Beatles = #1. Rock- n- Roll- band for all time!

  • 0:02 HOTY!!!

  • This song is one of the damn best songs I've EVER heard. When I first heard it on Anthology 2 I couldn't believe they actually decided not to include this record on an album or a single. What were they thinking?!

  • Yeah! i also have the anthology box set and i heard it on anthology 2. i couldnt find it anywhere!

  • Ringo hated it actually that's why, he didn't want it to be on the Help! album or the movie, and the Beatles said they kept a democracy, their vote had to be unanimous, meaning everyone had to agree, including Ringo

  • Can anyone else hear a new wave version of this fitting right in the early 80's!

  • I love this song,

    Ringo IS a freakin genius!

    The Beatles are amazing.

  • ♥ Rock on anybody ♥

  • ringo is the best for me

  • This wasn't released on "Help!" because Ringo hated it.

  • goddamn that guitar sounds real twangy must be a gretsch

  • great song and you made a great video

  • I love that riff

  • god ive just been feeling so shitty this morning and decided to find this song that i found in the anthology and now i have this stupid grin on my face and cant get it off. Thanks Ringo!!

  • They all knew this song was a dog before they even got to the middle 8.

Makes me smile every time when Ringo yelps "aw - rock on ANYBODY!" and George steps forward with the lamest solo he ever played. Definitely one for the bin!

  • According to the anthology notes, this was supposed to be a part of "Help!" The Beatles felt this song never quite "jelled" and they tossed it out.

Dang, but all the stuff they threw out is better than so much of the stuff that passes for music today, LOL.

  • great video and song dear dario, i realy liked it,
