@lrdavis1 There were some wiring issues from the factory on the car, the brake lights would flash everytime the clutch pedal was pushed down. There also wasnt a 2 step on the car for the launch. The reason for the bad shifting was simply because the factory T56 was damaged and had problems going into every gear, the T56 was replaced with a G-force.

..FYI, this is the same car that won the '09 Winternationals.Featured in CarCraft Magazine, & is also on the cover of the '10 Ford Racing Catalog.

@thc3636 Just because he is on the rev limiter doesn't mean he needs to shift. If the tires are spinning his rpm is going to be higher. If he shifts too soon he will bog in the next gear and go no where...

@tpostlstcrx ummm anytime you hit the rev limit you need to shift...even if you let off the gas. It's way better for the motor. Btw there's no way his tires were spinning at about 120 mph haha

@thc3636 Of course it's not good for the motor to sit on the rev limiter, but it is their for a reason. If you dump the clutch in 1st gear from a dead stop your speedo will jump up to the top of the gear because the tires are spinning that fast. If you are going 10 mph at 6500 rpn and shift into the next gear because you hit the rev limiter your not going to go anywhere.

Not on that car. Thats a 2008 Cobra Jet, and they were all done with testing before they sold them. This car is obviously at a sanctioned event meaning there was no need to sandbag during the run.
