Gordon Brown? didn't the labour lie to the public about immigration, debt numbers? Lol I see England becoming a third world dump because of liberalism my friend.
Oh, one more thing - isn't inheritance unearned income? It might not sit well with your putative electoral base, but surely it would sit best with your ideology to advocate much higher inheritance taxes in the name of lowering others (and increasing meritocracy).
We're currently looking at reforming IHT. If you join us or just keep an eye on us, you'll see if and when we change policy. Am more than happy to take suggestions however - PM me, or send me an e-mail to discuss.
The name: 'liberalist' is just godawful. If you can't have 'liberal' you might be better thinking of something entirely different.
Why you don't just become entryists into the Lib Dems? There is already a considerable classical liberal presence there.
Friedman and Hayek? Please no. No one can really argue with Mill but including them so prominently just makes you look like old-fashioned anarcho-capitalist crazies (which hopefully you aren't)
The name grows on you - just refer to it as the SLP if you think it's that bad, and SLP has a decent ring to it. We voted on the name after the Electoral Commission said "liberal" wasn't allowed.
Because the LDs will never be properly liberal - your base is largely socialist/ social democrat, so you'll always be held back by that.
We believe in free markets, but believing in free and universal healthcare and education is hardly anarcho-capitalist now is it?
1/ A married man with children in the 1950's paid NO tax! A far cry from today when MANY families are struggling to survive on TWO jobs!
2/ I VERY much like your manifesto which only disagree with one item: Immigration! The UK cannot possibly have an open door policy when we are such a small crowded island already. This has to be sensibly managed.
Keep up the good work a real breath of fresh air and what this country so desperately needs!
Our immigration policy is one of moving towards more open borders only AFTER other policies have been implemented. In the meantime existing policies would be kept, and perhaps even enforced better.
Essentially, it's about making the legal routes easier to use, thus reducing people trafficking, etc. This means that those who would usually go through the illegal routes would instead opt to use the legal, easier route instead.

I think there are 3 principal problems here:
The name: 'liberalist' is just godawful. If you can't have 'liberal' you might be better thinking of something entirely different.
Why you don't just become entryists into the Lib Dems? There is already a considerable classical liberal presence there.
Friedman and Hayek? Please no. No one can really argue with Mill but including them so prominently just makes you look like old-fashioned anarcho-capitalist crazies (which hopefully you aren't)

Just a couple of comments:

Thanks for the generally positive comment.
