  • She was the sexiest ever,Barbara Eden.Lots and lots and lots of women came close,in the 60s.And even throughout the decades following, but Barbara Eden had the perfect everything.

  • There has never been, or ever will be, anyone more beautiful than Barbara Eden! I've been madly in love with her since I was 10 years old, and I'm 57 now!

  • You are so beautiful. God bless you Barbara.

  • I didn't even know Barbara could sing. She sounds great.

  • The most underated beauty of the 1960's. Hollywood should have used her all these years in place of Marilyn.....

  • Barbara did cut one LP: "Miss Barbara Eden (Dot DLP 25795) in 1967, from which came three failed singles. She also sang on the "Harper Valley P.T.A." film soundtrack album (Plantation PLP-700) in 1987, from which came one failed single. That was the extend of her career as a recording artist.

  • I think she should have folded her arms Jeannie-style when she sang "I have been known to disappear!" LOL!

Two very attractive performers! The chemistry is obvious!

Does anyone else ever notice that when Andy sings with a female singer, he always takes the high harmony?

  • amazing song!

  • Funny, I had never seen her sing before, but now that I see her singing it realy doesn't surprise me that she can sing well. As Jennie she always kind of had a happy sing songy tone to her voice.

  • she was so pretty & sexy

  • Barbara is not only beautiful and a great actress, now I think I can add singer to her repetoir!

  • Wonderful duet.

  • Bet Andy wanted to ball her.....

  • "Wow, I didn't know Barbara Eden could sing!"

Barbara rarely demonstrated her singing abilities (even though she'd been singing since her teens in San Francisco) until "I DREAM OF JEANNIE" became a success in its first season. She was always a bit shy about singing in public, but when she became known as "Jeannie", she gained more confidence in herself {believe it or not}, and began appearing as a guest on variety shows towards the end of 1966, demonstrating HOW well she could sing.

  • Wow! Barbara...what a set of lungs! LOL

  • yeah, that look she gave him at 2:23 would have melted him...that kind of look is hard to fake too I think she might have really been into Andy (at least at that moment!)

  • When you look like Barbara Eden singing is the least of your problems. Notice Andy rarely looks in her eye. His eyes keep glancing down at "something else".

Barbara does have a nice voice. You would think she have more opportunity to show it off in her movies and tv shows.

  • At about 2:23, if he had looked into her eyes, he would have melted.

  • If I were Andy I would have leaned over and kissed her.

  • i was thinking the same hahaha.

  • Miss ya Andy!

  • Wow. I didn't know Barbara Eden could even sing! I don't know why people couldn't see or more importantly hear that she should have been a singer first and actress second. She has a better voice than Linda Ronstad- in my opinion.

  • @ErichH68 I definately agee, much much much better than linda..

  • Interpretation wonderful! 5 ***** pinkis.

    Martin

  • On the contrary, 'steve', it was because of her success as "Jeannie" that Barbara frequently appeared on variety shows during the late '60s and into the '70s, with ample opportunity to demonstrate her vocal abilities- either on her own, or duets with hosts like Andy- and she parlayed that into nightclub and other "live" appearances. Unfortunately, her recording career turned out to be a "bust": very few people bought her 1967 Dot album [even with posing as "Jeannie" on the cover].

  • I'm surprised that her singing career never took off - with those looks and that voice. I guess she was typecast as "Jeannie" instead.

  • This is good, I use to watch his show all the time.

  • Oh My God!! She is so amazing!! Her voice is like an angel *¬*

  • Thanks for posting

  • I love both of them and i saw Andy at his show when I was little, AMAZING!!!

  • If you originally tuned in on December 11, 1966 on a late Sunday evening, instead of watching "CANDID CAMERA" on CBS or "THE SUNDAY NIGHT MOVIE" on ABC, you would have seen this charming duet on Andy's variety show...as you're seeing it now.

  • o my gosh!!! Someone had thison here before but it got deleted!! I was so mad! Thank you for posting this!! I love it!!
