  • I love all of tfk's stuff but this song takes the cake for me...still the best :)

  • anyone else think the dude in the back looks like evil dick from big brother?

  • Trevor's brother teaches at my old high school. Small world. First song I heard from these guys. Got my entire youth group hooked! HAHA

  • @WintersucksOH Really? I wished he could b my teacher. What was his name?

  • @HUsolidier Scott McNevan is his name. He is A.D.

  • @WintersucksOH LUCKY! lol

  • in their new album they're putting a new song that sounds like set it off :)

  • Old school, yet I can still love this just as much as their new stuff they're putting out. love this band :)

  • Why is youtube only counting my views :o ?

  • I've heard many stories about lives that have been changed by a rock band. My friends life was saved by Flyleaf, and Skillet has helped me nearly the same way. If you hear the story behind the last night by Skillet, you'll get the idea. @shiphrahhopeful: According to chamchamboy's post, it looks like loud music has been around longer than we think! I have seen a service just the other week with an amazing drummer and a guitarist who pulled a solo, and it was the most powerful ever.

  • Stil my fav TFK song. :)

  • 16 people aren't SUPAFLY

  • there are currently 117,961 views... at least half of those had to be me

  • so listen learn, you playin with fire ya get burned, respect yourself, peace kid hope ya learn!

  • This song is absolutely SIIIICCCCKKKKKK! Keep on keepin' on TFK! I never in my life thought I would like metal, but I am hooked!

  • "1 ¶ Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. 2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. 3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. 4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. 5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. ." (Psa 150:1-5)

  • I hit the like butten at 0:48 :D

  • I want this CD i have every other one but this one :P

  • thousand foot krutch and their side project band called FM Static are both amazing bands, TFK is my favorite band ever

  • Yes this is TFK. and yes it's a old song back when they were more towards the hip hop side. but always some rock mixed in there

  • this is a hecka old tfk song! right...?

  • This isn't TFK? is it?

  • @punkdiva25

yes it is my friend, yes it is.

  • respect yourself peace kid hope u learn

  • ... there is nothing to say!!!

  • Pop Metal.......? idk i still love it xD

  • There's no bad music, it's the lyrics that makes the music bad >< In my opinion! Anyways, TFK = Best Band EVER! <3 =D

  • @eirolorie

    I agree to this 100%

  • @4KTScotty Thank you! Glad you agreed :).

  • ITS ADDICTING MAN IM ABUSING THE REPLAY BUTTON. one of their awesome underratted songs

  • @RetartedPete I just bought this cd 8D !!!!

  • the worst one, i love tfk so much but this one suck thats the reason why i put dislike

  • This music, (not necessarily the lyrics), is in your face, aggressive, and loud. Is it really possible to communicate the glorious truths of the Gospel through a medium that reflects anger, rebellion, and even hatred? I would say no. I can’t fathom God receiving glory from music that sounds like it was born in hell. These "singers" do not know the fear of God. Christian singing ought to be theological, holy and point ONLY to God, not ourselves.

    Lev.2 God killed worship leaders.

  • @shiphrahhopeful i would have thought that its the words of the song and attitudes of the singers that make something 'angry, rebellious and reflecting hatred'. however if you listen to the majority TFK songs their do point to God. music doesn't have to be solemn to glorify God. God has made everyone different, the type of music doesn't make someone Godless. its the heart behind it. these are God fearing men.

  • @foundheaven Rock n' roll is evil because it is connected to pagan Spiritism. There is no "good" rock. Rock is pagan and always will be. Rock music cannot be redeemed, sanctified, and made useful for the Church. Its roots are evil, its father is the devil himself.God is holy and does not condone compromise, you cannot take Satan's music and Christianize it. I have witnessed that the drum beating within many worship services gives the rock element to the service and brings in an unholy spirit.

  • @shiphrahhopeful Um, actually, if you knew your history then you'd know where rock came from. During the Jazz movement in the fifties, many artists came use the style "Hard Bop" and in doing so they lost much of their audience. The audience felt separated from their musicians because instrumental geniuses were beginning to sweep the nation, and in an attempt to become better, the musicians started playing so complicated, it juts sounded like noise to most. During that time,

  • the early form of country began to come around, and what rock did was take the storytelling elements of country, and mix with the soul of Jazz to create a new "fusion" of music. They chords and lyrics were so simple though, that everyone quickly flocked to Rock. This would soon be the downfall of Jazz, for no Jazz artist in the right mind would bring themselves down to that low of a level. Then over time, rock became simpler and simpler until many musicians got to the point of reducing their

  • @shiphrahhopeful creativity to the point that the most they could do is throw in some swear words, and scream into a microphone. This is where the term "Satan's Music" came from, because not only had Rock killed Jazz, but it also lead to strings of rebellious and idiotic generations.

  • @shiphrahhopeful i find it hard to believe that hell has a monopoly on rock music. this stuff is the only ministry that some get and want. and if God can use it, he will. and about rock music being evil.... there is good and bad cholesterol, there's also normal as vs damaging depression. same thing with anger, anxiety, gambling (taking chances as vs. casino addiction) etc. two kinds of "pride" (normal as vs. narcissistic). Good as vs. bad forms of being child-ish, etc etc etc. Chilax! lol

  • @shiphrahhopeful think what you want well all find out one day.

  • @shiphrahhopeful dude, chill out, its just a song. i mean its not like its a bunch of priests making a band that they devoted to god, and then they made this song. you are taking this way too far. i mean, they made this song because the lead singer had always wanted to explore what he could with his voice. and these guys are all really devoted to god, but they don't necessarily walk around singing psalms or any thing. I mean, really? "god killed worship leaders"? that's taking it too far, dude.

  • @shiphrahhopeful dude a genre of music cannot be satanic or evil, god never says that it is, now the lyrics to a song or the over all meaning of a song can be satanic and evil. also by u saying that u cant take what u call "satans music" and christianize it thats the same as saying their ant be hymns sung to satan, which their probably arent but if someone wanted to make one then they could, its not like rock was created specifically to worship satan! ur opinions have nothing to back them up and

  • @shiphrahhopeful You are very misguided, Jesus said go out and spread the good news, he never said how. When he was talking to the woman by the well who was a Samaritan. The Jews despised the Samaritans and thought them evil just as you think this music is evil, but Jesus talks to the woman anyway, why because the Jews were wrongly condemning the Samaritans of false worship which is exactly what you are doing to this band.

  • This is one of those songs that no matter your tastes, you can still rock out to this song

  • I didnt think i was gonna like this one, Never judge a song by it's title i guess

  • This song is awesome!

  • I painted a pair of custom Thousand Foot Krutch shoes for Trevor McNevan and they came out really amazing, check them out in my channel!"

  • I love their old stuff like this cause it a more of a mix of rock and rap but I like their new stuff cause it's a lot harder so I saw we should combine the two!! So basically it would just be the new stuff with more rap/hip hop or the old stuff but harder haha either way same thing I think it'd be awesome

  • why are the words so quiet?

  • yay! I'm learning this on bass

  • which album is this?

  • @GreatCowProductions Set it Off

  • I am not sure if you guys are aware but TFK is a christian metal/rock band and they are still very popular

  • tfk is totally epic

  • thousand foot krutch is one of the best bands ever

i love their style and alle their songs are great

  • They are the best bend i ever had a chance to listen but i wonder how many abums they have and names of the albums !!!! xD

  • dude this song is so sikkkkk!

  • dude!!! i love these guys!! totally awesome!!!

  • Great song. Period.

  • my church does this song

  • lucky!!!!!!!

  • Oh man, I wish I had been around when TFK came out with Shutterbug and the original Set It Off! They really rocked out back then.

They still rock now but honestly I wish Trevor still did a bit of rapping in his songs here and there. They were fun and never get old to listen to.

PS - Does anyone know where I can find the Shutterbug album? That's TFK's soldout debut album. It's supposed to be a legendary ultra-rare thing?

  • well thats your opinion right there :), but their rap stuff, not their best, that's MY opinion.... I honestly fine their latest 'Welcome to the Masquerade" their best album yet, followed by 'Phenomenon', then 'The Flame In All of Us', then 'The Art of Breaking'.... they started doing the better of genres starting with Phenomenon, when they actually started using more ROCK, thank god, than rap... peace!!

  • you are so right with those albums

  • @GobFan77 I think their older stuff was better because they were deeper and they didn't beat around the bush like they do now...

  • @luciengraywolf

not a chance boii...... yes their older stuff DID have better distortion level, but way too much rap shit thrown in compared to that of their newer all HARD ROCK stuff..... but its cool tho, your opinion counts too, peace!! just my opinion again lol

  • i love how they can change a little bit and still rock

  • It's the 4th track on their album Set It Off, so yeah it is.

  • yeah look it up

  • then u must not listen to them much

  • Yeah it is its on one of their first couple albums, if not the very first.

  • @joshtiger30 ...owned

  • This is so mellow... niiiiiice....

  • they sound like KJ-52 in this song

  • This kind of funny hearing Trevor rap .

  • i just heard of these guys and i like them this is a nice chill song

  • bass reminds me off a song with a fat chick n fraeky guy ah well not ther best, falls aparts good:)

  • been round kobg before linkin park............hotdawg

  • what does kogb stand for?

  • lol LONG tybing in the dark rules

  • Linkin Park sucks after Hybrid Theory.

  • naah they just got pretty mellow

but i dont listen to them as much

    anymore

  • well, i have to disagree. They sucked after Meteora! The only good songs on MTM are Given Up (even though its a little emo) and No More Sorrow and Leave Out All The Rest.

  • lol. not even close. If they sounded like anyone it would be Limp Bizkit. Stop hatin, TFK rocks!

  • check out quicken ^^

  • Too Many good songs. How come every TFK song is like a greatest hit? If only that many people liked them.

  • sad state of affairs... they should have way more coverage than they do... :(

  • i agreee, its one of those rare bands that i like almost all of their songs, not just 1 or 2

  • sit back, chill out, sitting in the garden on a sunny weather and listen to this song!

  • sounds pretty good :)

  • Puppet is the best!

  • this song along with phenomenon, bounce, rawkfist and i climb are my favorites!

  • what about "bring me to life?" (the taco bell free download song for their new album)

  • I think that Move and Rawkfist and This is a Call and Falls Apart are the best

  • noooo ppl!

tfk cant be defined by having favourites, because ALL their songs are great!!!!

  • i agree!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wow, you are soo cool.

lets bash on a band we don't even listen to.

you're dumb. go fall in a hole.

  • Good song! Hey guys - I've been a fan since their second album, "Set It Off". This was the second song on that CD, but their song "Puppet" is even better! The album before this one is titled "That's What People Do". It's only for TFK fanatics. The remastered "Set It Off" is worth it though - both albums combined! Find it.

  • how can i get their first album???????? i have everything except that lol

obviously they are my fav band

  • try amazon

  • i got all of there cds of tfk and they are amazing and i been a fan ever since i saw there first vid on youtube in 1998

  • @snowypanda93 i thought their was only three of them...

  • @jworcester92 now there is, but when this song was recorded Geoff and Dave were still in the band. I'm going off the 2001 album and not the remastered version.

  • @snowypanda93 gotcha..thanks for the info...didnt know the original band members...just like their music :)

  • 1:34 - 1:54 ROCKS!!

  • My mistake, but they sound really different now. How old is trevor?

  • Hmm... well I looked it up, and they did have past albums. Some of their songs were on the remastered version of Set it Off. So they had others that were way before they were popular. But, in many places I looked they called Set it Off there debut album. I guess they were really unknown before then.

  • The best songs are this, Phenomenon, Move, Rawkfist, and maybe best of all, Falls Apart

  • Rap sucks =/ oh well I am a loyal TFK fan. Anyways, this song sucks. They coulda done better. MY fave CD is the Phenomenon CD.

  • I think this song's awsome. Any good hybrid music gets atuomatic respect.

  • rap is amazing, so shut your mouth

  • Zman I agree this song is sort of awesome. SVRTV, rap is shit. It doesn't have any meaning except for telling us how fucked up the world is. Rap is the last 3 letters of crap. Coincidence? I think not.

  • when i say rap im not talking about the new crap in the world, what i mean is old school stuff like this is good!
