My friend got heavily involved in Scientology in Royal Oak, Michigan. He worked for almost no pay, and manipulated me upon Scientology command. They manipulated people outside of Scientology to sign a false statement of support for Scientology as being defined as a religion. A common trait of any cult is separation of members from potentially influential outside people, such as family.
