@SteephOu its an old tradition pure bloods used to do, even in rl like in china, or midevil times, the royal family wanted to keep their blood pure, and in order to do so they would have a boy and girl, then have them marry and carry on the oure blood, this cycle was only broken when there was no second child, or no boy/girl, then theyd make their child marry another kingdom for both a stronger empire, and for purebloods, then the cycle would repeat with brohers marrying their sisters
