  • Oh ! It's a real "WAR" sonata :)

  • Hey corocyan,, you truly rock!! Sounds awesome, great performance. That is not an easy to piece to play, not at all.

  • In camouflage and a helmet? That's just mean. Just what the piece calls for. Either that, or Martha. Loving it.

  • the simpsons

  • Ahahahahah!!!! Great! Love it!

PS: Did you bring my pepperonni?

  • I FUCKING LOVE YOUR CAMO!

also you did a wonderful job on this piece lol

  • @MrDiscernment Are you serious? all i can do is laugh at this comment!

  • @MrDiscernment maybe he is showing respect. not sure how you could infer that one way or the other.

  • Oh hai, didn't see you there.

  • imagine what would happen if he played op 25 no 12

  • awesome performance, but how did you get the camera to only record your hands and face?

  • GREAT! Please play this under a shower when playing Chopins Raindrop Prelude!

  • Looove the camo! I'm gonna dress up for my next recital!

  • I thought the camouflage was a great touch. It didn't distract from the piece or your playing of it at all.

  • too bad you feel that you have to make this piece rediculous with your "war"-outfit, because you're playing is prety good!

  • I'd forgotten how good Prokofiev's music can be.

  • ?????????!!!!!!!!!! One of the best helmeted performances I've ever seen..........Come to think of it - it's the only one. Kinda bizzar actually.

  • too mechanistic.... it's not really left hand accents competing with right hand, it's lack of musical extraneous? awareness that the left hand is too overpowering. you are left up with chopped up segments. listen to eightyeightfingers. but throughout the performance, you are improving slowly but steadily the division somehow spreads out in the climactic ending (but as i had said) the chopped up playing some how turned up anticlimactic.

  • Great costume AND great playing!

  • This is amazing! This is amazing! He's in CAMMO AND A HELMET, FOR GOD'S SAKE and he's knocking the ball outta the park! A-FRIGGIN-MAZING!

  • why are you wearing a helmet?

  • afraid the ceiling comes down? - hope it's not prokofiev causing cracks..

  • Nice performance! I take it that if you were performing the Chopin Funeral March, you'd be playing from a coffin.

  • nice play and cool wear!

  • beautiful...technically and musical.

  • nice!!!!

  • Great performance. Way better than what I'd ever expect from a typical Youtube user-submitted video. You bring out the voices very nicely.

Also, the camo's a great touch. xD

  • muaaah hahaha

    You are a GENIUS!

Really well played, by the way !!!

  • I laughed out loud when I saw a picture of your video!

  • You are a brilliant piannist and you have a Beautiful appearance.

Too beautiful to be covered up with any type of costume. Let´s just see you in one of your T shirts and the music will be great. Who could ask for more.

The other performance of 7th sonata is better however.

  • mmbbuahahahahahahahah

    bellissimooooo!!! :-))))))

  • I appreciate someone with a good sense of humor. Well played too!

  • You did wonderful perfomannce.

I wana listen it at the concert hall with the

    costume.

  • Cool helmet! I should've thought of this when performing this Prokofiev piece. :)

  • Un asco!

  • @puentemelisa Tienes razón, vamos todos a mirar MTV =D

    Imbécil.

  • Excelente versión.Quien toca?

  • Ahhh, yes, I can just visualise Nazi artillary advancing on to Stalingrad and all the Russians saying ah fuck you we'll burn the place down so when you get here there will be nothing but ash. Yes this music is powerful.

  • GENIUS!!

  • Great perf. What's with the getup? LOL

  • well you see the guy Prokopiev well he made this osng during the war and he made it loud so people couold hear it because he would have these concerts while the Germans were bombing the russians. so this is a war song

  • @ACDCtheTHIRTEENTH WELL, THAT IS MYTHICAL LORE IF I EVER HEARD IT ! ! ! THE PIECE DOES REPRESENT WAR BUT IT'S NOT LOUD TO BE HEARD OVER THE BOMBINGS. WAR IS LOUD SO THE PIECE SHOULD BE LOUD.

  • Awsome.

    5/5

  • The first 3 min are relatively easy, the last 1/2 minute not so easy, especially the leaps 1 page before the end. The best performance ever is the encore Horowitz presented at his "last" 1953 concert, where the speed and relentless unflagging ryythm and accuracy are impossibly astonishing.

  • I agree totally ! The Horowitz version cannot be equaled. Even better than Argerich !

  • Sorry but Horowitz can't touch Richter's interpretation or in this era Sokolov's performance.

  • Not bad for a pizza deliverer :)

  • Lol he not pizza deliverer, thats the gear of a soldier, this is a "War" sonata

  • @lovethepiano hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahaha

  • Hahaha!!! Hillarious!!

  • Excellent performance! Controled emotions. Fantastic!

  • OMG! this is sooo good, man!

  • wow

    you are very talent man

    exelent piece n_n

I have to admit, I sat through this waiting for something bizarre to happen, given that the pianist is wearing a helmet. Still if it makes people listen to this great piece, then result.

  • oh .... lindo

  • Talent..
