I highly doubt that. Nintendo was originally going to use a microphone, but they decided that was too expensive so they just put in one of those crappy speakers that you find in a Hallmark music card instead. If you're going to do something as gimmicky as a speaker on a controller, you should at least do it well. The speakers on Nintendo's handhelds sound decent enough so I don't see why the one on the Wiimote is of such poor quality.
