Now i get it. The Optimus Prime wings are the back of the semi-truck. A way to explain it's existence. On the cartoons the back of the truck always disappear.

Around 2:26 You get the hasbro representative spiel on dark of the moon. Captain America has some of the best packageing art for a US toyline. The dark of the moon packageing with the star field I know I'll discard.
