What?!? Besides the fact that made no sense. If you have skills but you are not signed to a (marketing) deal you can still be an MC. You're right in the sense that some of the illest MC may never be known but that does not make them any less nice. And I don't agree..if KRS-One came onto the scene right now and he was new them hypothetically he would use a newer style and still be nicer than Lil Wayne, Drake, Fabolous etc.

I remember when KRS ONE said in Step into a world track "I'm #1, sorry I lied, I'm #1, 2, 3,4,and 5!" This was said during the time Biggie and 2Pac were still alive! Bold move and Bold statement! No one said nothing afterwards when he said that either. No one probably dared to say anything back about that statement either.
