  • Other than not being deep enough the center of gravity is very different with a dumbell or without weight than having an extra 20 kgs on your back and @heyz123456 is obviously wrong.

  • This is actually a correct way. When you go below 90 degrees a significant amount of weight is put on your knees which could cause seriously injury. The point of squats is the train your glutes, quad not injury your knee. For those squatters who think "Go big or go home" and having there bum on the ground will just have you getting arthritis at the age of 40. Train hard, do it correctly. Fundamentals on this video.

  • @heyz123456 bull shit! how are you to train the knee if you don't ever close the joint while under load. That would be the equivalent of never bending your elbow past 90 for fear of damaging it; Then how would you eat!?

  • @heyz123456 You're a dumbass.

  • @heyz123456 You've come across some very poor sources.

  • @heyz123456 nope your incorrect.. having your bum as low as possible is the perfect and natural way.. this is causing imbalance on legs and destroys your ACL

  • @heyz123456

if there's one thing that would keep arthritis from happening its squatting heavy

  • i dont always squat but when i do its with a 10kg dumbell

  • NOT DEEP ENOUGH!!!

  • Lol this looks like the start of some video game... CHOOSE YOUR FIGHTER!

    Also... LOWER FAGGOT!

  • @CarnifaxMachine

Going beyond parallel provides no more significant muscular development than going parallel.
