we made this clip for fun in 2001, mainly to see if doing lightsabers was possible. i used a pentium II with win98 and a software called ulead media studio pro. the fx are all hand drawn with the mouse, frame by frame.
ums pro was pretty low-end, but it worked for what we were doing. either way, it was the only software that i had back then. it's probably defunct now, as is the miro/pinnacle capture card that it came with. the rez is quite low, half PAL, since that was the max it could handle.
omg. that totaly sucked. arent u guys a little old to dress up as starwars guys???? anyway it looked relle fake. i took karate for a long time and all the "stunts" look relle relle fake. no offense.
just thought i'd help you with some spelling, its not jedis, its just jedi even for plural, just a helpfull hint there ^^' and a nice film, somewhat low lighted sabers, but it actually makes it feel more real :)
Not too bad... although the camera was a bit far away for too many of the shots. But overall, pretty good choreography and fun stuff. As usual, there is no character, story, dialogue, or actual drama...

the color of the blade has nothing to do with rank,some of the jedi masters use blue sabers.The color of the blade shows what type of jedi they are.

The rotoscoping is a bit off in parts, but the fighting is sweet, and the kung fu sound effects are awesome.
